  1. The name of the injection is 흉살 주사(hyungsul jusa), which is often used for scar treatment in Korea.I was recommended this injection in exactly the same condition as you. I was told that I can only use it up to 3 times because it is steroid, but I can't expect much effect.

I went to several hospitals for counseling, and they told me that I should support my nostrils firmly with my own ribs because my skin is thick.I hesitate to undergo surgery again because of the cost and the burden of my body.Your nose is very natural and you have the option to compromise if you don't have a functional problem.

  2. That's right.I don't recommend getting any surgery other than a forehead reduction in this clinic. (Please make sure to appoint Dr.Ahn.)Originally, Koreans do not undergo major surgery in this clinic. Most of them undergo simple plastic surgery such as filler injection. But the reason why there are so many customers from specific countries is because the cost of surgery is cheap.

  3. I heard Verite is very expensive.Dr. Fukuda is more famous for rhinoplasty than for eyes. And, if you nominate him, you have to pay 20% of the cost of surgery and treatment as a nomination fee. Please contact the clinic for details.

Shonan is a hospital in various parts of Japan, and I have an impression that there are many patients who are in a state like a laboratory by hiring many inexperienced directors. Of course, I think there are excellent doctors in this clinic, so please check carefully.

Takasu says he once provided cosmetic surgery technology to a Korean director. The Korean directors formed the Korean Association of Aesthetic Surgery, and Takasu became the honorary chairman of the organization. But,There is an image that when a patient says, "The operation failed." he immediately puts pressure on the patient by filing a lawsuit.

  4. I had a rhinoplasty twice in Korea.I went to over 10 places for consultation, and most of them were surgeries for silicon + own tissues (Nasal septal and auricular cartilages). It is not unusual to use own tissue for primary rhinoplasty.
If you only want to operate on your own tissue, you may need to look for such a hospital.I don't think there are many hospitals that can use dermis.

  5. Hello Fighter.
Silicon is proven safe, but as long as it's an artifact, it's a foreign object to the body.If you are worried about inflammation, I recommend you to have a cosmetic surgery with your own tissue.

For reference, silicon is said to become "calcified" when put into the body for a long time. (image reference)Smoking and drinking should be avoided as much as possible regarding inflammation.

In Korean cosmetic surgery, there are hospitals that use donated cartilage and MESH(PCL), but please avoid it. Donations are more easily absorbed and at higher risk of infection than private tissues. Since the MESH is a new material, there is no security guarantee after 10 years, and there is a possibility that the tip of the nose will deform. The surface of Gore-Tex is very fine and it is difficult to remove because it adheres to tissues.

  6. I can give you advice about the clinic, but you should check the basic knowledge by yourself. The risk of general anesthesia is higher than that of sleep anesthesia.
In my opinion, some hospitals use general anesthesia when they use costal cartilage for reoperation, but most hospitals use sleep anesthesia when they use nasal septal soft bone or auricular cartilage for the first operation.

And don't trust before and after photos. Most clinics modify photos. In some clinics, it is emphasized that the picture of Before is corrected more severely and improved by the operation...Instagram photos are no exception. Be careful.

  7. Hello yukyuk:smile:
I will give you some information I know.

I have an impression that GNG is otolaryngology rather than cosmetic surgery. I think it's more suitable for functional improvement such as nasal septal curvature than for improvement of appearance. It's also more popular among men than women in Korea. Many soldiers are operating there.
And,Do you know that GNG performs nasal surgery under general anesthesia? It's not very good because it puts a lot of strain on the body. The type of anesthesia should also be noted:smile:

Other cosmetic surgeons are not specialized in nose, and there is no famous doctor. I think you should look for a doctor with high expertise rather than looking for a hospital...

I recommend Dr. Jaeyong Jeong from The plus and Dr. Man Koon Suh from JW.
They are famous directors not only in Korea but also in Asia and don't like unnatural changes.
The plus is expensive, but I think it's worth going to counseling. I hope you find a suitable hospital director:smile:
