Hi, at the moment the clinics on my list are Hyundai, topface, top secret, iq clinic, naturalism and nana hospital. These clinics b/a are more dramatic and have higher crease without looking too fake imo

 

Wowww unfortunate and rude that they ignored you like that... I also went to MVP and hate my results because it's not what we agreed on in consultation, and they got pissed at me for it lol regret going there so much

Do you happen to have photos of your eye surgery results? I am looking to get revision at the end of the year

Just because a clinic does not have many reviews online does not mean they don't deserve attention. We are a foreign market so it might just simply mean that the clinic does not market much towards foreigners (can be good and bad).
Double eyelid surgery is easy procedure but it has highest rate of unsatisfaction among patients since everyone desires different end results. I personally like Topface b/a as well so anyone who have experiences there, please share

 

I had my eyes done by Dr Seo at MVP. There are many good reviews online about him but I must advise you that unless u want really natural (low) crease, look elsewhere. Many girls have complaints about hooded eyes after going to him and I have since heard he is not that popular among Korean locals. My experience with them turned from bad to worse after they got angry at me for sharing my negative experience there online so be sure to do your research.

 

My thoughts exactly. I will 100% go to diff doctor now because MVP have shown their true colours to me in their later messages haha
I wish I knew that they were not popular with locals beforehand.. So many glowing reviews on PF makes me wonder how true they are, or do I just really have drastically different tastes to so many others who went before me

 

I had primary des at MVP by Dr Seo.
I will go elsewhere for revision as theyre shady and rude imo, and I dont think theyre capable of achieving the type of results I am looking for anyway. Waste of time and money going there the first time round for me personally.

 

Unfortunately I dont think so. There are so many people who get results that they did not ask for, but clinics never give refunds, they only offer free revision. I also asked for refund, after my results from des turned out NOTHING like the eyes I discussed with doctor in consultation prior to surgery. They said 'there will be no refund for dissatisfaction'.

 

IMO, small eyelids is different to hooded eyes. If you dont mind the risk of hooded eyes then go for it. Natural eyes is his specialty.
I personally do not approve of their lack of professionalism towards me when I started complaining about my unsatisfactory results and sharing my experience online with other people, so I do not recommend them at all. I clearly showed and stated what I wanted as results and I got no where near close to it. I have a right to be upset since it is money out of my pocket, and eyes that are on my face, but consultant said I am immature lol

Personally, it was a complete waste of time and money for me. The only good thing I can comment on is his stitchwork. My scar is fading nicely and is the ONLY thing Im satisfied with about my surgery with Dr Seo.

Ohhhh we are going for very similar style!!!! I would prefer a style thats in between the 2 you posted, although I would still be very very satisfied with either of them.

Unfortunately can not really recommend them if you are looking for dramatic/higher crease; they are really good for very natural/conservative look though!!
If you want to chat more we can talk on kakao! I have a big list of clinics that seem to be more consistent with doing higher creases and am having trouble narrowing them down hahaha

 

Yeah they really didnt provide any information.. but I didnt exactly ask for more details either. I am going for revision des! I want more dramatic results and uvom seems to be a bit more natural then what I am after which is why I havent really asked the consultant for more details! What sort of eyes are you going for?

I also had the same experience with uvom where they offer high price but say there is 30% 'promotion'. I think its a marketing technique for foreigners lol

Sorry to hear that your stitches have come undone! Korea is known to be capital of plastic surgery but there are definitely risks, as there are with any procedure done anywhere in the world. Do lots of research, chat to as many people as you can, and don't rush into it! Hopefully you will choose the right doctor for yourself, and end up with results that you love

Hey, I was in the same boat as you before I did my primary des. I had so much thick excess skin that it covered my eyes so I knew I had to get incisional des. However my primary didnt turn out well and my eyes are still hooded so I am getting revision. They will most likely lower the price a bit in f2f consultation. Both those clinics are relatively bigger than other clinics though, so they will obviously have a higher price, especially for foreigners. 1.8m won is above average for non inc des but you could probably negotiate a better price in real life consult

 

How did they connect you directly to Dr Shin? I tried messaging them on kakao, and english is obviously not their first language. They replied really slow with only 1 sentence and didnt answer any of my questions. I had crossed them off my list but am now considering them again because of the good reviews I am seeing on Dr Shin. Thanks!

I’ll dm you my kakao ID. If you are after dramatic crease, I advise you to look around at other clinics before settling. Everyone has different perspective of natural and dramatic though so also keep that in mind

 

If you mean non incision DES + ptosis correction, 2.5mil is a fair price for foreigners. Most likely they will lower it slightly in real life consultation. I have honestly only seen very few clinics offer a lower price than 2.5mil for the 2 procedures in online consultation (for foreigners).

I also asked Nana for price quote and they said 3m +tax for incisional revision des alone, no ptosis or epi included. Have you consulted around in other clinics to see what prices they give?

Hey there, if hooded eyes is your main concern, I would probably check out other clinics alongside MVP. The main complaint for Dr Seo is that he is too natural/conservative and people’s eyes have turned hooded after going there.
