There are also medical clinic (?) services such as DocFinder and SeoulMedical (?) that helps foreigners with their journey.
I think the big thing I took from here is to REALLLLLLY do your research and ask all and any questions you have, especially at consultations. And if it doesn't feel right, don't feel pressured to say yes to a particular clinic. I came across some worrisome reviews about ID Hospital so just do lots of research!!
Also don't put a deposit down before you go to visit the clinic- I've heard it become extremely difficult to get that back...
Hey ! So what I've been told is that it's 2% or 3% percent off of the 10% because of handling fees =_= (kind of like when you get charged for exchanging currencies?)
Hey guys! I'm actually in Korea rn (and recovering) a thought to keep in mind is that Korea's weather is SUPER hot and humid in the summer. It's been like 30 degrees Celsius (like 90 Fahrenheit?) everyday. So if you come during summer like me please find a place with GOOD a/c. Or travel in fall or spring time (did a google search afterwards and it says the weather is beautiful and more importantly, tolerable)
Oh man. Mine started at 4.5 for rhinoplasty. Ended up paying 4.3 though and no osteotomy. But as long as my results end up good I'll be more than happy. Fingers crossed!!
Actually when I did mine they were cautious.. only gave me local sedation and said if osteotomy was needed then GA would be required which in my cause I had to avoid. Those are pretty typical symptoms of GA no?
Ya np! I plan on making a forum eventually cause it was a long journey to get here =_= I just got mine done at View, post op day 2. Just a rhinoplasty to heighten my bridge and lengthen my short nose. I was thinking alar reduction but was ensured that it should be reduced when my tip is reshaped (kind of like pinching the tip of my nose if that makes sense)
Hey @goodavocado ! Just curious about your thoughts now that it's been a month. Also how do you like gortex?? I was very interested in gortex but was told it's 9x the price of silicone and wouldn't work with my flat bridge
Oh no now I'm worried!!! I just got mine done and am on day 1 post op ...
@pulpy, I hope it's just swelling!!!! Can you continue to do red light 10 days post op? Anna never mentioned anything about deswelling treatment to me... Mine right now is HUGE like.. the size of two noses right now lol
Oh, I think there's a misunderstanding here. I think 2 years guarantee is great! "puts me at ease" as in it makes me feel a lot better about possibly choosing Namu
Thank you for replying and for the info! I am seriously considering this clinic but in the online consult they said my nose bridge wasn't that low.... which was odd to me because my nose bridge is practically none existent (it's so hard to wear spectacles =_=). But I'm hoping that may chance with an in-person consult. The 2 years guarantee really puts me at ease though. Do you know what would happen if you wanted a revision but Dr. Joung had left? (hypothetically)
@Sonya714,
1) does Namu typically always offer 2 years guarantee? (I never found anything on their website).
2) which doctor performed the rhinoplasty?
3) it's still early but how are you liking your results so far?
Wait.. J* was on my list to visit this summer... but there's two clinics with J* (JW, and JK). If I'm allowed, can I ask which one you are talking about? And I heard about foreign prices but didn't know that I was being quoted double the price
