  1. - 3 month post op -

I really witnessed swelling go down a lot this month. My friends and family all thought i lost weight hehe My jaw looks very natural and has a feminimine curve. The surgery was totally worth it.

For someone who deswells slowly like me, the majority of the swelling will go down during the 2-6 month period post op. Don’t panic if you have a large pancake face post op. Plastic Surgery is a long journey.

I have 0 nerve damage, 0 facial pain, 0 muscle imbalance... i am really satisfied with my surgery... however i am thinking about getting zygoma with Dr Lee again in a couple years but i hope he doesn’t raise the price since he is getting so popular

  2. It went to tfd for vline. My face was super square and now it’s oval. How much Dr Lee cuts really depends on where your nerve line is located. If you have a high nerve line like me, he can cut a lot! To find out your nerve line, you can request for an X-ray or your jaw area by the home doctor.

However, if you go to clinics that does not care about your nerve line and only your aesthetic appeal, you could potentially end up with a disabled face... tooth death, inability to open your mouth, chronic facial pain. I have befriended people botched from other facial countouring plastic surgeons who suffer from those problems.

At this point, i could eat and talk without strangers thinking that i had something done. However, my friends could tell the difference because my facacial muscles look tighter and i can’t smile as wide.

I could open my mouth 2.5 finger length but it hurts to do so.

My swelling has gone down but you can see a weird indent on my right jawline due to my chin filler i had from 2 years ago (which i am thinking about removing when i go to Korea next time)

  4. Hi Archonei,

Thank you dear. Your message is so sweet and supportive. You are right, i will rise above this and live my own life

No need to dwell on the painful past while one can look forward to the sweet future.

  5. Haha i feel like the front desk girls are really nervous. I didn’t interact with the front desk nurse tho

I think Koreans are just generally skeptical of foreigners since i dressed so poorly in comparison to all the other fashionable ppl on the street haha...

  6. Hi Taiwanboy,

Thank you so much for your kind reply.

I really enjoyed reading your post as well. I think for the longest time i seeked my parents’ approval and at one point i was just like **** it it’s not worth it.

Haha funny how strangers share the same feeling!

Best wishes to you for your recovery!
