Hey! The consultants were just understanding and they to understand that prices can be negotiated--at least thats what i felt! I was doing 2 procedures total and it wasnt a small amount of money so they were able to give me a 10% discount and are also providing a free skincare treatment, a transportation ride to the airport on my day of leave, and also doing tax refund!

I think its honestly how you communicate with the consultants too, some consultants can be a b**** but the consultant that I was with at Migo was really great

 

oh and plus, all the price quotations were different in the end, some places ripped me off more than they quoted online, other places, I was able to negotiate a far better deal through a face-to-face consultation, so dont be fooled with prices either!

I had a rather bulbous nose effect! I got mine done recently through research of a Rhinoplasty specialist (board certified), of course. During the consultation he showed me alot of cases he had done with bulbous noses, and I felt very connected and was able to trust my doctor! I'm still recovering right now, havent even seen my nose yet, but i keep you all posted! I went to 5 different doctors initially, and I had 3 top doctors on my list btw~

Do your research on the doctor! not the clinic!

make sure you look up the doctor that will actually be responsible for your case! I wouldnt just trust clinic reviews theyre really big on marketing and bigger businesses in the plastic surgery industry from what Ive learned thorugh my own research!

What terrible news, is it that common for patients undergoing Plastic surgery to face deaths in korea these days? I've only heard about some of the bigger hospitals a couple years back, but does it still happen alot?

 

Wow! You seem quite aware of the whole plastic surgery industry! My friend made the mistake of choosing to go with an agency as well and not only did she get ripped off, her results were no good. Have you had experience at any notable doctoers/clinics in Korea?! Or do you know any Rhinoplasty surgeons specifically?! Im going nect month and it would be a huge help!

 

I've been looking for a doctor specializing in rhinoplasty that I want to undergo my surgery with rather than famous clinics. My friend got her rhinoplasty done at Jewelry(?) and she only decided to go there because of some agency she decided to go with and completely damaged her nose. Lesson learned, I decided to do my research on which doctor I want to trust.

So far I've done my research through the SRF (Seoul Rhinoplasty Forum, an official organization that has board-certified plastic surgeon members only) and I've looked through all the doctors and their reputation, but since I can't visit them all, i've dialed them down to this:

Dr. Lee Jun Seong (Trend Plastic Surgery)
Dr. Kang Eun Taek (Migo Plastic Surgery)
Dr. Lee Kyu Ho (O&Young Plastic surgery)

So far these are my top choices, I will do some walk in visits to other clinics I think, and maybe even try out some of the marketing giant clinics like ID or Banobagi, but honestly just for fun and experience since I'm taking of 3 weeks for this trip!

Each of the Doctors mentioned above have different styles as far as I can tell, and I'm leaning more towards natural but since I have just a small nose and want to see what my limits and what the doctors opinions are, Ill be visiting all of them. I'll be going for consultations next week and have them all scheduled, but my friend recently told me about this forum and said that I should look for some real reviews here so I'm just trying to dig out some more info before I meet all of them! After all, I think its most important to feel comfortable and be able to trust the doctors, with consideration of their reputation of course.

I will share my experiences after the face to face consults with them if you are interested!
