I have been told that there are multiple consultants named Claire. I guess korean people like this name a lot haha.

 

People seem to have nothing but nice things to say about Claire. I think it’s hard to find a genuinely caring and warm ps consultant and I see why everyone who had her as a consultant want to defend her rep. I hope to meet this wonderful lady one day

I would try to increase budget to 8k min if possible so that you can enjoy your stay (while you’re in pain lol). You’re going to need to stay in Korea for 15 days (what my consultant told me when I was trying to figure out my flights and such) My Airbnb and flight alone is $2510. I guess your flight could be cheaper since you’re in Italy. Decent Airbnb’s in Gangnam are $55+/night (Airbnb also has service fee and cleaning fee). You will have to eat and will need transportation costs. Say you will be insanely frugal and spend only $300 for that. That’s already nearly $3k on non surgergical costs. If you want to go to vip, go to vip. Send them a message on kakao app and ask them for a quote. I don’t recommend cheapening out on plastic surgery.. not that you should overpay either.

How I used pf was looking at what people hated about clinics. Or if there was even one botched case and a really pissed off client I crossed it off my list. I also read a lot of Korean articles and posts.

I think you should do your own research instead of asking for recommendations of clinics because sometimes people are lucky and get great results at a clinic that’s usually not so great. Also, people say that there are promoters here and that’s why I looked at only the negative things about clinics instead of positive raving reviews. I guess there is also a flaw in this method of elimination, but it worked for me and I ended up scheduling consults at 1 clinic that has been mentioned here and 5 clinics that have never been mentioned here.

Spend A LOT of time researching. If you need help with translation I can help you translate korean to English (sorry, can’t speak Italian!!)

I had to do this when I came back from Iceland to the states and even without getting work done it was so awkward/uncomfortable (“um... am I doing this right?”). I forgot about this and now I’m worried!

I think drs. Recommend that you wait 6 months until you get revision. I wonder if it would be more difficult for them to do a revision right away and ensure symmetry since they are swollen, and we don’t swell evenly. I see what you mean though, but then again when I see your eyes in the second pic with your eyes open the one on the left looks slightly more swollen. Make sure to keep looking up! That’s what the surgeon told me when I got my eyes done and I was literally staring at the ceiling and refused to look at the ground

 

You seriously can’t go around accusing everyone as a promoter. Mods please. There should be rules about this. I mean there’s a person suffering fragranceaddict obviously needs a time out from the Internet.

Have some sympathy and gain some knowledge. I’m sorry you are not aware that a lot of Koreans refuse to go to surgeries where all the foreigners go to. Because the ones with heavy marketing are where foreigners go. This clinic has pics with celebs and has ads plastered on buses so yay this doc is so skilled. That’s not how it works.

I happened to find a surgeon who’s done celebrities through word of mouth. Only passed through Koreans. This surgeon’s clinic is nowhere to be found on pf. Because guess what? He doesn’t need heavy marketing to make money. Your assumption of “I’ve never heard of this clinic so this clinic sucks therefore you are a promoter” is heavily flawed.

Koreans joke and say “clinics can not stay open without China money” there is an ounce of truth in this. Big places need lots of people obviously, in order to stay open and there are only so many people in Korea, but wait.. there’s like 600+ plastic surgery clinics in Korea?? That’s why they spend so much money on ads and even go as far to pay off ad agencies to not mention that the pictures are touched. Big names take in thousands of patients and so yes they have some good and also bad cases. It’s just luck if you go to a extremely well known clinic. Doctors change all the time even when the name of the clinic stays the same.

That’s why it’s important to consider a ONE SURGEON clinic that has been in operation for a considerable amount of time—who’s name is on the line if he butchers someone.

I’m sorry that there are so many promoters, but sometimes it’s just people who want to help.

I am really wanting to get this but I was wondering if anyone knew if the surgeon would be willing to take a little from both thighs instead of one. Or is that what they already do? I don’t think I have enough stomach fat but I don’t want uneven thighs.. or am I just being a worry wort?

There’s no need to curse at me. I’m not a promoter... I wanted to get cheek reduction done really badly along with v line but decided against cheek bone reduction after seeing this doctor’s YouTube videos on his sister in law. He said sagging was inevitable. His sister in law had to get NUMEROUS ulthera which a non celeb or a regular normal income person like me cannot afford to do.

I don’t know why you’re being such a hater. I was only trying to give her encouragement. I’ve done so much research on plastic surgery in Korea you have no idea. I’m finally going in October after researching all the possible negatives—you don’t need to be so freaking rude.

I stumbled upon the surgeon and the clinic while I was researching failed cases of any bone cutting procedure. I was really touched by his bio and that is all. I’ve never read anything so honest from a plastic surgeon especially on his own failure on one of his patients.

 

I saw a lot of his YouTube videos explaining cheekbone reduction. He’s very transparent. He’s done it on his sister in law. I’m not a promoter!!! I wouldn’t get cheekbone reduction because as sad as your case is it’s not rare at all. Your clinic is just playing dumb and even Koreans have difficulty getting revision surgery at the same place because they don’t treat you like the queen they treated you the first time around.

 

Maybe contact h plastic surgery. He’s a really knowledgeable and humble surgeon.
