  1. After reading through this thread I just wanted to jump in.

I don’t think Korea is really completely unsafe or lack safety standards like this post has made it out to be. There is a reason that Korea is the epicentre of cosmetic surgery.

Although that being said, it’s always best to do extensive research on the clinics, the doctors, and it’s history. Always visit more than one clinic for consultation.

Granted, going to Korea is a bigger risk as its a foreign environment where you are put under an invasive circumstance.

Though as an asian person living in Europe, it’s difficult to find a clinic that deals typically or specialise in Asian faces. The ones that i could find are extremely expensive.

Therefore I would rather take the risk and go to Korea, as the doctors there deals with Asian faces and tend to be more knowledge about their structure and have more experience operating on them.

Keep in mind, with the plastic surgery boom in recent years, many people from Asian countries, I.e Japan, China... are going to Korea for plastic surgery. Therefore with the sheer amount of surgeries done there, this would increase the likelihood of botched jobs.

So there’s no right or wrong in this argument, therefore choose the best option suited to your needs.
