Thank you for your answer ^^ I am looking into revision rhinoplasty and started researching about Japan but couldn’t find much about it.

 

Hi guys.
Just wondering if anyone has done research about plastic surgery in Japan. I believe they would be good at it since they have very advanced medical care. However, I don’t think they cater to foreigners so please, if anyone knows anything, share. I am interested to go.
The only clinic I managed to get in contact with so far is Plaza Clinic.

 

Nowhere in the world someone would charge you 100 dollars for washing the face.
Facial is the meaning of cleansing, removing blackheads, massage of the face, applying masks etc.
What happened in Nana was a 5mins face wash. Consultant said it will take 60~90mins
Either she didn’t know or there was a misscomunication. Still paid 110,000krw to have my face washed tho

 

i believe 100 dollars for a ‘facial’ where they just wash your face is a rip off

 

Oh, the consultant also asked us to write a review since they wanna get popularity. By us I mean me and the friend I went with (which still has to be compensated for the ‘facial’ - I already left Korea)

 

Hei guys.
Since some of you know, I went to Korea for 10 days to consult about my revision rhinoplasty. This trip, I also planned to improve my look by doing some botox and fillers.
So, while I was consulting, most doctors told me my nose could not be improved much since I have a thick skin, I decided however to consult more clinics and since I was right next to Nana, I decided to drop by.

The doctor told me the same, nose cannot be improved much but she would reccomend a slimming and skin botox injection for my nose. Said it should work. So I agreed. And I decided to also get fillers and forehead botox.
I went there with my friend, and we asked the consultant if they have a ‘facial’ treatment as well, to which she responded yes. She said the price is 110,000krw and the time would be 60-90mins. I told her I wanna do botox and fillers, and my friend also wanted to do jaw botox. She said she would offer a ‘free’ aquapeel.

So it all started. The facial we were promised, it lasted about 30 mins (includinf the aqua peel) and it included only a face wash. Lol. So we basically paid 110,000 krw for a face wash. We talked to the consultant about this, she said it’s ok because we got the ‘aqua peel’.
Then I got the fillers for my nasolabial, 2cc and fillers for my lips 1cc.
So i basically paid 300.000krw x3 = 900.000 krw for fillers. KOREAN FILLERS
Then 240.000krw for sliming injection and skin botox.
110,000 for the ‘facial’
No tax refund was given.

As for the results, it looked good at the moment but now one week after, the nasolabial fillers are almost gone!! Also I had botox in my forehead to whoch I feel like thwy injected water because my frown is just as strong as before.
Pretty disapointed. Can send you pictures if you feel like I am overeacting. Lol. Just sharing my experience.

 

I went to Braun for a consultation. I really loved the consultant, their b/a and they seemed very genuine and kind. VERY HONEST, that’s why the doctor said he cannot achieve what I want with my nose and he refused to operate me. So I would say they are a good clinic.

If you are talking to Corinne, yes she is a sweetheart.
I am planning to do revision rhino, was initially quoted 8 mil online but after face2face they dropped to 5.5mil
I like the doctor a lot. He tries to speak english and gives you good vibes. But there was no patient in the clinic and they don’t have many reviews also so I am unsure.

 

Hi. Is this the price you were quoted online? I also consulted Migo and i managed to drop the price on f2f consultation by 2.5 mil.
What do you think about them?

I heard about VIP and I also heard they are good at revisions. Unfortunately they charge 14mil won for a nose revision so that’s way out of my budget.

Hello everyone.i had rhiboplasty twice before, my first wone has a good result but a slightly droppy tip, so I went through revision with another doctor in Turkey who completely destroyed my nose. He made it fat, bulbous, wide, no shape. Since then I have been sad, depressed, I don’t go out anymore and I can’t accept my nose and I can’t find myself anymore. I cried for months but now I decided I need to take a step forward and try to fix it again! So I decided to do my revision nose surgery in Korea in July. I went to consult 3 clinics last week, and I am more confused then ever.

First clinic I saw was also my top choice, Braun. Consultant Maya is really helpful and nice. I did a CT scan. But when I met the doctor, dr. kim Gui Rak, he just looked at me, touched my nose and said he cannot fix it or do a major improvement of my nose. He explained it is mostly scar tissue and it cannot be removed. I was sad, dissapointed and I left Braun with a heavy heart. I really wanted my surgery to be there.
* No fee for consultation.

My second consult was Migo clinic. The consultant there is also super sweet and their korean consultant is so funny and cute lol.
I explained her my concers and also did a CT scan. Then I met dr. Kang Euntaek. He tried to speak to me in English as much as possible. He explained to me how he can improve my nose, but to have realistic expectations. I told him about my Braun experience and he said definitely my bose can have an improvement and he will do his best. This is the doctor that didn’t seem rushed, took his time to explain and didn’t seem bothered whenever I asked him something. Consultant was there but he spoke directly to me in english and spend almost 1h with me inside. I feel like he is really confident. I liked this clinic but I cannot see much reviews about them.
*consultation fee is 10000 won (less than 10 usd)

Last clinic for me was Hyundai. This clinic was extremely busy and the consultant and doctor were both in a rush. The doctor saw me for 3 mins only and had barely any comunicafion. He just nodded and smiled. Consultant told me It cab be fixed. No CT scan was done.
Since I spend 3 mins with the doctor, I asked the consultant to explain to me how he is planning to fix my nose, but she was extremely busy and said she will get back to me.

So guys, I saw 3 clinics and all of them told me 3 different things. I don’t know what to do anymore if anyone can tell me about other good clinics with good rhino doctors, I woulf like to research more. Right now I am leaning towards Migo because I really liked the doctor. But it seems like the clinic is not so popular so it’s hard to research about them.

My consultation experience was weird. Doctor was very busy and saw me for only 3 mins. But there were A LOT of locals in the clinic. Male and female.

 

I don’t have much to share..I am looking into revision rhino. I went to the clinic and was super busy. A lot of locals. Doctor was in surgery so I waited about 30 mins. Meanwhile I explained to the consultant what I want and she wrote it down. When doctor came, he looked at me, touched my nose, smiled and nodded. I was there for about 3 mins with him. I also said I want a threadlift an he approved.
Consultant told me he will be able to fix it and he is really busy right now, and that I can ask more questions when I do my surgery.

Long time lurking on this forum. Looking to have my revision rhino.
I consulted with 3 clinics today. Braun, Migo and Hyundai.
I really really liked Migo’s nose doctor, but the clinic was empty with no patient.
Does anybody have experience with them or heard something about them?

 

Not sure about the choice of clinic yet. I even gound a reptable clinic in my country that has a good deal for FUE.
I would prefer FUT also cause cheaper and I heard that results are better.
When and where do you plan to do it?
