  1. Not sure about the lipo, but Namu has produced some amazing results when it comes to facial surgery.
    Also check out Hyundai.
View is also another good clinic but they are significantly more expensive than aforementioned.

  2. As far as I understand, you’ll have to go straight home from the airport. I saw some people interview at Sydney airport complaining that they don’t know what to do because they weren’t allowed to go grocery shopping.

Is there any way you can get a family member/friend to get your cat and stock up for you before your return?

Oh and just FYI, be careful who you come into contact with during your self isolation because if someone comes into contact with you during then, then they will have to self isolate for 2 weeks.

  3. I hope Scott Morrison doesn’t decide to close the borders by then.
Have you heard about the new rule that’s imposed? You will have to self isolate upon return for 2 weeks. If they “catch you” outside, it is punishable by fines and/or prosecution.

  5. Hey! Sorry to hear that. I think fillers would be structurally better than fat in this context. I would suggest a robust, thicker filler such as Voluma. Only downfall is it is semi-temporary so you would need to top up every few years. A more permanent solution would be getting jaw implants. Good luck

  6. Wow! Great results!!
Does the ptosis surgery leave scars?

  7. Depends what lip lift you are after. I’ve done A LOT of research into finding good clinics in korea for bullhorn lip lifts and the truth is i haven’t been able to. The results are far too subtle and/or the scar is too visible.
I would highly recommend Dr Miguel Mascaro from del Ray beach, Florida. His results are amazing and the scar is pencil thin. He also positions the scar so it’s under the shadow of your nose which makes it even less visible.

  8. That’s really disappointing as I was seriously contemplating going with TFD. Had an online consultation with Dr Lee and in hindsight he didn’t really address my request of keeping my jaw angle. Didn’t think much of it at the time as I thought I would just reiterate it several times just before the surgery.
Can I ask, did you stress to him you didn’t want too much off your jaw or did you just mention it?

  9. Just read your realself post. Seeing how much research you did on surgeons made me wish I had done the same before I got my rhino. Had mine done also by a popular ENT and facial cosmetic surgeon in Sydney. I had made it very clear that I didn't want a barbie/ski-slope nose and wanted to keep a little bump but unfortunately he gave me his 'signature nose'...my fault though, should've done more research and not persuaded by convenience/ proximity.
In hindsight, I would've gone to someone who specialises in ethnic rhinoplasties.

  12. Hey! Great to see a fellow Melbournian on here.
I’m planning to travel to Cali to get a BBL at the end of this year /start of next year done by Dr Ron Hazani (board certified, Harvard graduate). I went with him because in all honesty, he was one of very few I had come across that produces natural (but still hourglass) figures and he does ‘skinny bbl’. He wasn’t my first choice though, Dr Sej was but he charges $30K usd.
The reason why dr Hazani wasn’t my first choice is because he gives a lot of his patients ‘laterals’ unless they specifically express they want hips and not laterals (too much laterals and you begin to take the shape of a wisdom tooth..think stassiebaby and Nikita dragun).
I’m surprised Gavin isn’t board certified.

  13. All good, everyone has different preferences when it comes to beauty  I know that some Korean plastic surgeons have techniques to reduce sagging and premature aging, so it would be beneficial to look into this more perhaps even ask about it during a consultation/email.

Regarding the buccal fat removal, I would do ALOT of research and ensure the benefits would outweigh the cons (sagging of upper face especially coupled with cheekbone reduction). If you do go through with this procedure, make sure you are at your ideal weight and don't expect to lose/gain weight because I have read about cases where girls lost weight after buccal removal and as a result their faces got too gaunt and cheeks were saggy.

  14. Given your age, I would highly advise against a facelift.
I do agree with the other commenters that your problem may be due to having fuller mid/low cheeks and/or being hollow anteriorly. A fat graft would correct these nicely. I personally love high, slightly prominent cheek bones, but if you don't, you can even get fat deposited just underneath the cheekbone to soften the curve. Only downfall is, fat doesn't last on the face well so chances are you would need to have at least two treatments done.

  15. Sorry just read your post again, you had both face and chin lipo. Have you heard of removing buccal fat pads on your face? That makes a whole lot of difference. Pretty sure Bella Hadid got that done

  16. Agree with you 100% on setting realistic expectations when it comes to cosmetic surgery. Any good doctor will tell you this from jump
Did you just get chin lipo or did you do your whole face? You're actually pretty lucky you gain weight on your face first as it is the best for aging haha there is a saying 'after 40, you either pick your face or your ass'.

  17. Also, forgot to ask, do you have sufficient volume in your cheeks? Only asking because I was much more happy with my dark circles after I had gotten cheek fillers than when I had tear trough filler (the anterior part of my cheeks were quite flat).

  18. I think it depends on how sunken your tear troughs are. If it is only mild, I would continue to get fillers (I've noticed that in this area of the face, filler lasts quite a while especially compared to the lips, wbu?). But if you have deep tear troughs I would, only after extensive research on a doctor I trust, would get fat grafting done just because fillers can get quite pricey.

  19. Fat grafting is very unpredictable in terms of survival, and I wouldn't do it for such a small and delicate area such as the under eyes, unless I go with a surgeon that specialises in and is extremely talented in doing this procedure and does so conservatively. The under eye area is not forgiving- too much fat (even if it is just a little too much) and it will appear extremely off (which would suck because unlike filler, apart from the small amount of fat reabsorption that would occur, most of the fat deposited would last for several years at least, even heard it can last a lifetime).

  20. But doesn't acculift only address fat, and not skin? Hmmm...I wonder if they can do a jaw lift/mini face lift during the surgery.
