I have been on purseforum for years and years, but only started to get more active these past two years or so. I always promised I would give back as much as I received from this community, so here I am. Clinic:
GNG Hospital

I consulted with many places but in the end i chose GNG for two reasons, 1. nasal obstruction correction, and 2. Because they are a so called hospital. BOY was I disappointed. First of all, my doctor was non interested and short in our primary consultation. He showed no interest in my concerns nor did he speak much. His translator did most of the talking, not sure if it was to sell me or to fluff out what he didnt care to say. The actual only reason i decided to go through with surgery was because of the glowing reviews i read on this forum. LADIES (and gents) ALWAYS ALWAYS trust your instincts. If you fe uncomfortable about something, trust your gut. NOT what people on the internet says.

Anyway, So my nose is very wide and short. I distinctly told my surgeon that I did not want to have a short nose, and that my aim was to make it longer. I paid about 6.5 million KRW for the surgeries above and i cringe to think about what revision may cost me. Not only did they charge me 1.5 million KRW extra for a cadaver cartilage I SWEAR THEY DIDNT USE, but they had the audacity to say its not shorter. My nose is a complete pigs nose now and its ALL THANKS TO THEM.Even on the day of surgery, i brought all my photos and explained in absolute detail about what i wanted and didnt want. My main and only objective was to slim and lengthen my nose. How could he have done the complete opposite? My nose is noticeably more short and bridge is bumpy af and my tip is messed up!!

I will attach my before and after photo. Pictures definitely speak louder than words, so you all can be the judge for the atrocity. Please comment or message me, I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO. I am utterly humiliated and stuck.

I have contacted them several several times about this concern during the first few months, but their replies have been limp. I have called but they keeep telling me i must wait to see the final result. TOTAL ******** . I have waited over five months and youre telling me its gonnna get a **** lot better than it is now? No. I know they are just pushing me off. In all honesty, I would not trust them with the thought of revision. Now i must consider what to do next. I wanted to let everyone know to NOT trust these sponsored reviews and to do lots of research OUTSIDE OF TPF. I had a conversation with a female in a kakao group chat who had a similar problem after nasal irrigation with gng WT....

ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY are MORTIFIED. I cry everytime i look in the mirror and deathly stress everytime i think about whats in the middle of my face. They tell me my nose has been wrecked and my nose is completely botched and up turned!! My nostrils are completely uneven now. I cannot even begin to explain how it has been for me

Wow I’m so sorry this happened to you. Their response is quite horrible I don’t understand how a business can do that to a paying customer.

Your results look great! View seems more expensive than other clinics so I didn’t book a consultation with them but their results all seem to be good. Were you able to get any discount?

1-month update:
It's been a month already I can't believe it! I didn't notice before, but the swelling in the tip has gone down quite a bit compared to these other pictures. There is still a lot of swelling in the tip I think, but it continues to go down slowly day-by-day. I might post some better quality pictures soon because the lighting in my room is really bad (also I didn't shave, ignore that! lol).

I am planning to fly to Seoul next month around end of January to finally do the things I have been wanting to achieve for my face. I need your expert advice in choosing clinics, duration of stay and every helpful tips I will be needing on this journey. I want to have Facial contouring with rhinoplasty and bigger eyes. I know Korea is so famous for this transformations. I am considering to choose some clinics I have searched online. My top 4 are : Id, banobagi, cinderella and View clinic. So far, they’re the known ones that perform magical transformations. Any tips for me would be appreciated. Thank you

Hi I just had revision rhino at Namu and I am happy with what they’ve done for me so far although I don’t know if I’ll like my nose yet until after the cast is removed. Definitely had a much much better experience with them compared to the previous time.

I've living a busy life after going back to my country and haven't checked my thread but hope you all know that I'm not having any complication/side effect or sagging either. (my skin rejuvenated and recovered after the operation! Glad that I took it in my twenties ) It is 6 months post-op; all nerves are back and there is no difficulty opening my mouth so...I'm perfectly fine and more pretty.

Love the results! that’s great that you didn’t experience any sagging. That’s my biggest concern for FC

3. I am awful at negotiating!! So I just paid what they told me. LOL! But I’m sure you can negotiate with the consultant. My translator Haley was super sweet and helpful. Also I believe the reason why foreigners pay more is bc of the service we receive. For instance, I never had to wait EVER- while I see other girls at the clinic waited, also I received free deswelling after care services. I was alone on this trip and never once did I feel like I was alone. They were always quick to answer my concerned and I had my own personal nurse the day i Was hospitalized.
4. My lips blew up bc I had lip fillers. LOL. Everyone recovers differently. But the fillers definitely made a reaction.

By v-line, what procedures are you specifically referring to? I did mandible angle reduction at MVP clinic and it went smoothly. But I didn't do my chin or zygoma, which I'm planning to do next year.

Last time i uploaded my 4week post-op photos and now update it.
It's been 5 weeks since surgery, i had hump and long nose, so i removed the hump and corrected nasal tip and bridge. Now my nose looks refined and natural, that makes me happy.

I am now 16 days post op and I wanted to share my experiences and my B&A’s too! It was definitely a emotional roller coaster but so far I’m liking my results more each day! For the first week after my surgery I stayed at View’s VIP room and the care was phenomenal. Whenever I had an issue, it was addressed immediately and if I had a serious concern they would schedule me to see the dr. ASAP.

The first week of recovery was definitely the hardest. Not only did I have to deal with my swollen face, I also had BA too... I think the worst part that I experienced was the effects of GA had on my body. On my first night after surgery, my throat was so dry but it was so hard to drink water and i couldn’t breathe because of the packing... the same day, after my consultant brought me my meds and I couldn’t even swallow it without feeling like I was choking. My consultant was super sweet and she went back to the pharmacy to have them crush the pills for me. I have to say, the amount of drooling you have the first 4 nights is ridiculous! During my second night, I felt like I was drowning in my on saliva because I couldn’t breathe since my nose was packed. It was the worst feeling ever!! I contacted my consultant and she send a nurse to see me right away! After my packing was removed on day 3, I was still super congested. Day 3-4 was the peak of my swelling. By day 5-6 by things started getting better and that’s when I started eating some tofu soup and walked around ALOT. Seriously walking is the key to de-swelling. I think there were days I walked 8-9 hrs around Seoul.

For my fc, I definitely see a huge improvement, my vline is coming along nicely but there’s still visible swelling, but I know it’ll take months before seeing my final result.

For my eyes, it was a revision. I asked to make it even because my before pic there was barely any swelling from the beginning. The incision is really nice and I move my eyes now

For my nose, when I first took my cast off, my nose looked huge and it looked crooked. I was so shocked and sad about it. Everyone reassured it was the swelling but I was in

disbelief, I told Anna (my consultant about it) and she immediately set up an appointment with dr lee. He looked at my nose thoroughly and said it was the swelling and I didn’t have to work about it. By day 16 I still see the swelling but my nose is smaller and fits my face shape.

For my breast, there really wasn’t pain but just discomfort. However I was able to mobilized

More than I expected. By 2 weeks it’s still a lot softer. However there are times where I feel it’s still tender and sore but I think that it’s still normal since it is still healing.

For fat graft, i think this was the reason why my swelling was so intense. I was actually quite surprise that the most pain I felt was from the site where they took my fat out ( back of my thighs)

Purseforum has played a fundamental role in choosing my rhinoplasty clinic and doctor in Seoul, so I hope sharing my experience will help a lot of you choosing your clinic.

Before coming to Seoul, I was overwhelmed by the number of different rhino clinics that I should consult. I did a lot of research in a lot of clinics, and the surgeons that worked there.

I decided that I wanted to go to a small/medium side clinic with a doctor who had a lot of experience and is very safe.

I booked three consultations with Uvom, The View, and GNG.

The View were super sweet organizing the consultation. We communicated back and forth in Kakao. I really liked the consultant who worked there. She was very attentive and caring.

Talking to GNG in Kakao, the consultant was not as personal as The View. I felt like they were not that interested in making the experience personable and enjoyable. It seemed to be more of a numbers game for them. I was attracted to them, because I liked the work of the doctor.

Third, I consulted on Kakao with Susan from Uvom for about a month before my consultation. She was very sweet and took the time to answer any questions I had. I was also very impressed by the doctor's credibility. Uvom was not heavily marketed to foreginers like GNG and The View, which was not a problem for me.

My first consultation when I arrived in Seoul, was with Uvom. Uvom is a small / medium size hospital that focuses on improving functionality first. Then aesthetics second. This was very important to me, as I wanted to be able to breathe clear. Uvom give a natural approach to noses, and that is what I wanted. The doctor I chose was Dr Lee Jung Soo, the owner of the practice.

I discussed with Susan, and another consultant, what I hoped to achieve from this surgery. They took their time to talk to me, to address all my concerns. Then, the doctor came in to speak with me for about 10 minutes. I understand he is very busy, but as soon as I met him, I had a gut feeling that he was the doctor for me. He was very humble, and knowledgeable in his work. He examined my nose and explained to me what could be done to fix it.

I was with Uvom for about 3 hours. I always follow my gut, and I knew there and then, to cancel my other two consultations with The View and GNG, and book in surgery with Uvom. We booked the surgery for two days away.

On the day of the surgery, I spoke with Susan and she calmed me and reassured me. Susan explained that they were going to use Sleep sedation and local anesthesia on me, as this has a lot lower risk than general anesthesia. We went to the surgery room. I fell straight asleep once injected, and when I woke up, it was all over.

I rested in their bed for an hour. They gave me gauzes and earbuds to keep my nose clean. Medication was not included with Uvom. However, Susan kindly went to the pharmacy and collected the medication i needed with my money. (It was not that expensive)

Then I traveled back to my air bnb. Travel costs were also not included as part of the surgery.

The next day (Day 2), I went back to Uvom for a Vitamin Injection Drip, and for LED deswelling treatment. The nurses cleaned my nose.

Today is Day 3. I went back to Uvom today for another LED deswelling treatment. The doctor removed some stints from my nostril and the nurse cleaned my nose with like a suction device, so now I can breathe better again.

I am going back to see the doctor on Monday (Day 6). The doctor will hopefully remove all the stints then.

Overall, I am very pleased that I chose Uvom so far. There were no foreigners in the waiting room any of the days, just local people. It is hard to see the shape of my nose now with the bandages. I will keep you updated when I get my bandage off. Hope this helps

I'm so happy with my results I really do recommend view clinic they are reliable for the good result and most and foremost SAFETY! Even if I'm back here in U.S they are still communicating with me in every questions I asked. I feel like I have a family coz they do care for the patients
