I can’t share the photo because it’s not mine to share - sorry ! Just don’t want to be posting someone’s scan without their permission. Please just trust me that it’s very bad. Extremely asymmetrical.
I was just shown a ct scan of a girl who got vline at Cinderella. It's botched and completely asymmetrical and apparently she as to get a revision now. Please beware.
I found gyalumhan on Instagram a few months ago and was really excited by what I saw. After I posted about them here on pf, people didn’t seem to have much to say about them, so I put them on the back burner. It’s so nice to read this post cause it confirms what I was feeling
Has anyone consulted with them ? I’d love to find out more about their pricing, doctors, and procedures.
So I’m interested to take a sort of poll - I’d like to know if any of you (who’ve gotten ANY sort of jaw surgery) were able to pass it off to your friends and family as if you’d simply lost weight in your face ?
I’m planning to go to Seoul in February and have yet to tell anyone (with the exception of 2 people) about my Vline surgery plans. So I’m curious to hear about your experiences post surgery with other people’s reactions and how you dealt with telling them (or not telling )
I’m super interested in your experience as not only is DA in my shortlist (I’ve consulted with them on kakaotalk too), but I am also having the exact same procedures done as you have ! Our nose and jaw situations sound very very similar too. I had a primary with an implant and it’s not only deviated, but my base is super bulbous (doctor did not touch that part / my jaw is very asymmetrical and I will need to shave it down, possibly just on one side.
Sorry for the long intro, but I’m just really excited to read your review. How is everything so far with you ... Are you still feeling positive about your surgeries ? Also, Namu is my number 1 pick - why did you decide not to go with them ?
Thanks !! So looking forward to hearing back from you
Your nose looks great, congratulations on a successful surgery : )
I'm curious to know how many clinics you consulted with, and out of those, how many were giving you the green light for an alarplasty? Every consultation I've had I've been told that alarplasty (though I know in my heart it would be necessary for me) is not necessary and also when reading posts here I find that most have gotten the same response from Korean clinics - it's almost as if Koreans dont feel comfortable doing the procedure ...
Have any of you noticed that Korean plastic surgeons never recommend alar base reduction? I find this very strange, as in other countries, such as the US, it's a very common procedure. Every clinic in Seoul that I've consulted with have always rejected my request for an alar base reduction, always saying the same thing : that once the nose is lifted up, that there will be no need as the nose will become slimmer. Does anyone have any idea why Koreans don't like to perform this operation?
