The weather in Seoul is super cold! I was at both TFD and Bano and chose Bano over TFD as I felt a bit closer connection with surgeon there. Also, staff at Bano was nicer which, I think, one of the most important factors for aftercare. I was offered some discount for making a deposit, which I did as I’m all 100 sure that will come back to get everything done in March, not sure about dates tho

 

I’ll arrive in Seoul on Wed and booked my consultations with TDF and Bano. I’m really excited to visit them! I don’t plan to proceed a surgery this time, just want to get f2f consultations and see what each of them can suggest me. Maybe will come back in spring next year.

 

I’ve seen some other threads on different plastic surgeries and noticed that most clinics offer a good discount instead of writing a review on them. I’m not sure if I’m ready to share my results with other people… So far, I couldn’t find any other clinics other than TFD and Banobagi and contacted those 2 only. And, btw Bano has their own subreddit now which made it really convenient to ask about prices. Couldn’t get detailed info on my issue tho and still had to contact their consultant lol.

 

I’d really appreciate to here your recommendations on where to get FC done with usd $16K budget??? I’m considering TFD and one of my friends got it at Bano, so I’m thinking between those two. I also saw few posts where you were talking about possibility to negotiate with clinic about prices. How did you guys do it? My friend was offered a discount up to 20% for making a deposit, but I’d really appreciate if anyone can share if there any other ways to negotiate, as most clinics refund only a part of your deposit if you change your mind about proceed a surgery there.

both TL and BANOBAGI are good enough at facial contouring. I think you’ll be able to choose once you got face-to-face meeting with their surgeons. from my understanding “your” surgeon is the one, whom you’d feel with your “heart”. that may sound too fancy but it’s true

no, but when we bought staff the cashier asked if we need a tax free receipt. so we collected all of them btw, not every place ask this questions and sometimes we had to ask ourselves

 

so, yea just as I said a surgeon my friend went with was Jonglim Park. he also got rhino and eyebrow lift there with dr. Harkyoung Kim and he said that the total was 19k ish… he doesn’t remember the exact price for jaw reduction tho, but he said that got really good discount.

 

I think my friend’s surgeon was someone else, I’ll let you know tomorrow

a friend of mine got zygoma and jaw bone shaving about 2 yrs ago, we travelled to Seoul for his surgery. the place went to was banobagi. I like his result and I think it looks very natural.

 

I'm not sure about plastic surgery but the last time when I was in Seoul i collected almost all receipts and got quite a good refund. they are doing it since lot of foreigners come there for shopping
