Does anyone have any tips for a faster recovery from eyelid surgery?
Last time I took 4 months to deswell to the point where I looked just presentable with makeup on but I'm going for revision and this time, I want to take all the precautions I can to ensure a faster recovery time.
Also, does anyone have any advice on minimising surgery scars?
Honestly I'm not too sure. I think I might have a bit of excess skin but I still think its the crease they cut thats not high enough. I'm hoping to go to Korea at the end of this year and get a consultation at MVP to see what they have to say about my eyelids.
Hey @catanddog, for dramatic eyes, I would advise against going to MVP. I went there to for 'natural' eyes and to even out my eyes and get a visible double eyelid crease but now my eyes are basically hooded so... not really what I asked for but I guess you can call it natural lol. But I have heard that MVP are conservative with their results but I guess I just didn't think they would go that that for.
Hey @heatherle! I had uneven eyelids too (one hooded one double) and I got DES done at MVP in hopes to fix that up and get both double. Dr Seo did warn me that he can't get it 100% even but he will try his best so I wasn't expecting perfection but now after 1 year my eyelids are still noticeably uneven and one is back to hooded and the other one is nearly hooded too! My friend also did DES at MVP and hers is hooded too even though she asked for a higher crease.
Hence I would definitely not recommend MVP so far despite the positive reviews missorange keeps posting. Definitely do more research before because I read many positive reviews on MVP (mostly by missorange) on here but after reaching out to other people who got it done at MVP, theres a number of girls with the same hooded and uneven results.
I hate to be the one calling out people but I'm honestly just so sick and tired of seeing missorange post the same positive things and tips related to MVP and DES here and seeing other people reeled in to getting surgery at MVP.
I got double eyelid surgery (+ptosis & epi) at MVP by Dr Seo in 2017. Its been a bit longer than a year now and I'm not exactly happy with my eyelids. They are basically hooded and both eyes are uneven, with my left being more hooded than the right. My eyes were initially uneven so I wasn't expecting both to be perfectly the same but I'm just frustrated at the fact that I asked and was shown a higher crease than what I got.
I spoke my concerns to MVP over kaokao talk and they agreed to revision but I'm just concerned if Dr Seo would be able to fix my crease because they didn't go into any detail at all about whether they were able to give me the eyelids I wanted and I also came across a number of girls who had the same results as me with the lower eyelid crease than wanted.
Can someone who has had revision at MVP pls share their experience with me? TT_TT
Hey Princessegg,
I legit have the same issue with Dr Seo at MVP! My eyelids are basically hooded now even though I specifically asked for tapered and relatively big but natural crease. I only recently asked them on Line so I'm waiting for the reply but fingers crossed they can do something about it!
