  1. For someone calling ME judgemental and biased, you are showing a lot of that.

Ask yourself the same question, and take your own advice. Why are you continuing to argue? You’ve made your point and I disagree with it.

  2. Did I say anyone in particular will regret getting BA? Or that I’ll be able to identify who? Please, point me to where exactly. I said that I HOPE my experience can prevent someone from making a mistake, whether that is the OP or just a passing reader. Damn, you are dense.

  3. Just because one remark was not particularly helpful, it doesn’t mean I didn’t intend to be helpful when I provided my initial responses. Whether it actually helped her or not is subjective but I would rather give my personal experience and opinion on wanting BA at a young age and hope that it prevents even one person from making a decision they regret. Not sure why you think you’re the judge of what should be posted to this discussion board.

  4. Calling someone out on their self-proclaimed maturity isn’t meant to be helpful or valid medical advice lol.

  5. The opinion that she should wait until she is older and that she should speak to the doctor directly are not mutually exclusive.

Again, I did NOT claim that she’s not mature enough in the context of any medical producedure, you don’t need a medical degree to call someone immature over the internet.

  6. Lol are you serious? Just because 16 year olds *can* be emotionally and physically developed, you think doctors should perform BA on them? The age requirements set by the FDA (18, 22) are of course not magic numbers when a person suddenly becomes mature/developed but it’s a safe threshold where the CHANCE of one being mentally and physically ready to make such a decision is deemed great enough.

Not sure why you think only medical professionals can assess mental maturity... I personally found parts of her responses immature and pointed out specifically where. To clarify, this was only in response to her own claims that she’s mature, it was not meant to imply that she’s not mentally ready for BA right now. That is absolutely up to professinals, so again, I urge her to talk to Banobagi directly to get the most accurate answer.

  7. I have made no assumptions here, I am only speaking to how you’ve portrayed yourself. Thinking that what you want at 16 will be what you want later down the road is extremely naive, and you deflecting comments that aren’t validating your risky decision speaks to your lack of maturity. Trust me, meeting you in person would not stop me from advising against getting breast augmentation at 16. When you post something on a discussion forum, please don’t be surprised when you receive relevant comments that you may not want to hear. If you want a direct answer to your question, ask the doctors directly.

  8. You are 16. I know you feel like you know everything, I did too, but you really don’t. “I doubt I’d grow anymore” isn’t convincing any plastic surgeon to perform breast augmentation on you. Of course it’s approved in Korea otherwise it wouldn’t be so widely used, but I’m specifically talking about FDA approval which is more widely recognized and harder to obtain.

  9. I don't know about Korea, but:
Because breasts can continue to develop until a woman reaches her late teens or early 20s, the FDA requires that women be at least 18 years old to get breast augmentation with saline-filled implants and at least 22 years old to receive silicone implants.

I would not trust a doctor that is willing to do breast augmentation on a developing 16 year old, regardless of parental consent.

Also, Motiva is not FDA approved. I know many people here have gotten Motiva and I am all for adults making educated decisions for their own body, but I think there's a greater chance that you will regret your decision at 16.

I wanted a boob job when I was 16 years old too so I totally understand where you're coming from. After 7 years of continuous research and contemplating what size/shape boobs I wanted, I decided to do it. And I'm glad I waited because my idea of beauty changed drastically in that time frame. My clothing preferences and style evolved too. You will thank yourself later if you spend some more time thinking about exactly what you want, and checking if you still want the same thing 6 months later, 1 year later, etc.

  10. An implant is not the same as filler injections. it sounds like you did not get an implant. You got fillers (Radiesse). It's not permanent.

Like MissOrange, I have not heard of botox being injected into nasiolabial folds, but filler is commonly used there.

I think this is a matter of miscommunication between you and the doctor. I understand you're upset but I don't think the doctor did this out of greed.

Also, check the ingredients for Radiesse. it's not "fake". And if you're allergic to "fake" like you claim, why did you get botox?
Radiesse is made from calcium hydroxylapatite. This mineral is found in human teeth and bones. The calcium is suspended in a water-based, gel-like solution. After stimulating collagen growth, the calcium and the gel are absorbed by the body over time.

  11. I'm not here to give you meaningless compliments and I'm sure they won't help you anyway, but my HONEST opinion is that you look very normal and have some nice features as well. You don't necessarily have an appearance issue, but a self-esteem issue. Of course, improving your appearance can raise your self-esteem too.

People do stupid, meaningless things in high school and bully for no reason, say things that aren't true, etc. I suspect that they weren't bullying you for your appearance but because you were easy to pick on. Almost everyone has been bullied before and you need to understand that they say what they can to put you down and get a reaction out of you, their words can't be trusted!

If you still truly believe you're unattractive to others, I want to make it 100% clear that there is no problem with your face. Many, many other factors make up overall attractiveness. Hygiene and posture are extremely important. Teeth can be too, depending on where you're from. And last but not least, confidence is key! if you are constantly feeling sorry for yourself, putting yourself down, and avoiding social interactions, people can sense that and will not want to get to know you. if you look like you're comfortable in your own skin, you look so much more attractive!

I'm guessing that you're quite young. This won't make you feel immediately better but, with age you will probably get more comfortable with yourself, and your peers will become nicer too. I wish you all the best

  12. It's not a scam. It was created by PF users who weren't happy with the dishonest reviews written by clinics here.

    https://beautyhacker.com/about/

    Who are we?

Many of us came from a particular women's fashion accessory forum that for some odd reason became a place to discuss plastic surgery in Korea. That place is filled with false, promotional, and fake reviews now, and has caused people to make life-changing decisions based on lies. We made this place to guard against that.

Our mission is to create a high functioning and organized community dedicated to those planning and researching plastic surgery in Korea.
They have an archive of the discussions on PF, but is not open for comments. I'm guessing it's so that all of the information can be accessed in one place without switching back and forth between PF & BeautyHacker.

  13. Wow. You are absolutely not ugly. I recently noticed that my lack of fat in the nasolabial area makes me look a bit older too. Honestly, before you go for a permanent/invasive procedure, I would try some cosmetic changes first. Grooming/microblading your brows can dramatically change your appearance and improve overall facial symmetry. Your upper lip is beautiful - you might benefit from a little bit of filler in your bottom lip to improve balance and remove lines. Plump, but not overdone, lips can create the illusion of youthfulness. You can also try cheek and temple fillers to fill out the hollow areas of your face. I would try doing them separately, to see the effect of each one on its own. it can help you pinpoint exactly what it is you don't like about your face, so that you can make a better informed decision if you do decide to have surgery.
