If you had ptosis correction AND DES now, would that mean your eyes would theoretically last longer since genetics of ptosis/weak eye muscle were “fixed”?

 

Hello! Have you gotten a ptosis correction in the original procedure? Also do you have before & after? Hunting for my own surgery but so many places to start!

 

I’m looking for someone else who has had experience with fixing extremely hooded / droopy eyelids. My eyelids hang over my eyelashes, causing me to look tired and they’re so wrinkly and droopy. I also believe I have ptosis.

I believe I will need to get incisional DES to remove the excess skin but it seems like a lot of anecdotes on this forum come from people with already youthful looking eyes. I want to see who has had a good experience getting this fixed. Thanks!
