I wouldn't suggest thread lift... Waste of money in my case. Acculift removes fat and the laser is supposed to tighten your skin, thread lift is supposed to lift your skin (without fat removal) but the results lasted maybe a month for me (and were probably caused by the swelling). The long term results are so minimal I don't see a difference whatsoever with before. But I heard it might be because I have a chubby face

 

I've had facial contour surgery last year in Korea, and ever since then I have some minor sagging, and my face had become quite chubby. I'd like to fix that, so I've contacted some clinics about getting acculift. Laprin clinic has suggested power v lifting instead (as they do not do acculift), which seems to me like the same procedure (as it removes fat in unwanted areas and the consultant told me the laser also helps tighten the skin), and the results from their b&a photos also seemed similar to the results you'd see on someone who got acculift. Does anyone know what difference there is between the two procedures, if any? Also, if anyone has had either acculift or power v lift done, I'd appreciate your insight on how good the results were.

I’ve consulted with several clinics online, and so far Braun has given me the best price and best consultation service out of all, so although I also plan on consulting with Uvom and View in person, I am strongly considering going through with Braun. Thanks for your answer how long did you take to recover? Do you think it would be safe for me to go traveling around ~3 weeks after my surgery?

 

I’d like to have face contouring as well as eyelid surgery in the summer before I start university. I would also like to go backpacking during the summer and am a little conflicted as to if I should travel first and then get surgery in August and risk not having fully recovered when school starts or do the surgery in May/June and then leave Korea after 3-4 weeks to travel around. Is it safe for me to travel (and thus walk a lot, carry either a bag or a suitcase all the time, etc.etc.) or would I be better to do my surgery after my trip?

Hey there! Basically the title says it all. I am a 20 years old caucasian woman and I want to get face contouring and eyelid surgery in South Korea. However, I have noticed that most foreigners that get surgery in Korea are ethnically Asians, which makes me a little afraid that a surgeon not used to operate on white people could botch my face because of that. Has any other caucasian gotten plastic surgery in South Korea? What was your experience? Are some clinics known for having more foreign customers? Thank you!!
