@imbaby : I did thorough online consultation with Dr Park Jin Seok. i had book myself this end of May. Beside i wonder if other doctor is in your list ? Will you be there for consultation only ? Last June, i went Hershe PS for face to face consultation. Due to short of review for Hershe, i kind of indecisive which surgeon to go for.

They spend a lot on marketing and i believe it paid off because clients do get attracted to them and end up going there and spending so much. A simple eyelid surgery should be easy to perform, since it is one of the more common procedures? I did incisional, epi and lateral. my left eye is nice, but naturally my left eye was always nice. My right eye was the problematic one that didn't have an eyelid so i mainly went to fix that, but my new eyelid fold/ incision, was like cut half SHORT, wtf. And I have like 3 folds right now on this eye, not one single fold..... whatever lets talk about the lateral procedure, it looks like the doctors hand slipped and just cut vertically down instead of horizontal across? anyways, theres like a noticable scar on the lateral area of my right eye. In terms of the incision scar for my double eyelid, the scar is not noticeable, but honestly thats the least of your concerns if have have random scars and multiple folds on other parts of your eyes -__-

This place is so expensive. i can't even stop emphasizing HOW OVERPRICED this place is for the quality. oh my god frustrates me so much. My thing is, if you have nothing good to say, then don't say it at all, but i can't help but share my experience because I'm on here AGAIN trying to desperately find a revision rhinoplasty surgeon.

Rhinoplasty I won't even rant about because I already expected myself to redo it since i know many people who have done more than one rhino because you can't fully achieve the look you want the first time? Who knows. My tip is still bulbous and the nose tip is a round tip not a pointed tip which I wanted. So obviously i didn't get what I wanted.

I went with my friends and one of them is not satisfied with their eyelids or nose either but is more desperate to fix the eyes than the nose, whereas I am more desperate to fix my nose than my eyes since for me I can cover up this weirdness with make up. The friend that did her breasts is very satisfied with how her boobs came out, so thats a positive review out of 3 that I can share. Personally, the only good thing I can say about HERSHE is that the staff and the surgeons are very nice. The customer service you receive is really high BUT I MEAN, IT BETTER BE IF YOU ARE PAYING 2X-3X THE PRICE?

Its true when they say to do deep research first and don't go based on marketing or price. It was my mistake to choose the clinic that is the most expensive thinking that the higher the price, the higher the quality. I think its best to choose the doctor based on what they specialize because in my opinion, I think NO ONE can specialize in like 3-4 procedures together -__- wouldn't that be considered just a general surgeon? Because if a doctor at the clinic says they specialize in nose eyes and breast, i feel that they are just a doctor who PERFORMS those procedures at the clinic... Anyways, mistakes were learned so just a tip to just do LOADS of research.

Maybe our case was just the unfortunate one out of the many they have performed. Who really knows.

Oh I didn't go with him in the end, I chose another surgeon and I'm very happy with my results. I chose Motiva but honestly the implant doesn't make a huge difference, the surgeons skill and choice of placement plus your existing breast conditions will be the most important factors in your outcome.

It’s been 3 weeks post op now (Done it on the 12th of Jul) and I’d like to share my experience with Park Jin Seok Breast Aesthetic Clinic.

It was last year, around October that I started doing some intensive research and understanding of the BA procedure. As I was researching, I came across several clinics - both in my home country and South Korea. Subsequently, I eliminated the clinics from my country for 2 reasons

1. I felt that Koreans have more experience in cosmetic procedure

2. BA is incredibly expensive in my home country.

Prior to shortlisting, my main concern was if the clinic provided Motiva Implants (which I researched a lot on for its natural look and touch) and the cost of it.

From there, I shortlisted 2 clinics in Seoul (Park Jin Seok Breast Aesthetic Clinic and TL)

Initially, I was leaning towards TL as it was highly advertised and there were plenty of reviews on it. It was also a bigger clinic which made me assume they had better facilities.

When I contacted them and asked for their cost, they quoted me (Non-inclusive of medications):

1. 10, 000, 000 KRW For Motiva Implants (w/o Chip)

2. 12, 000, 000 KRW For Motiva Implants (w Chip)

Note that at this point of time, I didn’t know there was an option between having a chip or not. However, TL staff is friendly and provided quick replies via Whatsapp.

They also offered a lower price for me if I were to write a review, providing pictures on realself.

The price that TL offered me with review is (Non-inclusive of medications):

1. 8, 000, 000 KRW For Motiva implants (w/o chip)

2. 10, 000, 000 KRW For Motiva Implants (w chip)

At the same time, I contacted Dr Park from Park Jin Seok Breast Aesthetic Clinic. One plus point about Dr Park’s clinic is that he’s the one that I’m contacting directly with. It’s important for me that my doctor is aware of my concerns. Although I’m sure that the staff who attended to me (from TL) had sufficient knowledge, it cannot be more than the doctor himself.

As I’ve read online, Dr Park isn’t one who viciously advertises for his clinic and provides the same price for both Koreans and foreigners (which many other Korean PS clinics do not). He quoted me (Inclusive of medications):

1. 8, 000, 000 KRW For Motiva implants (w/o chip)

2. 10, 000, 000 KRW For Motiva Implants (w chip)

Dr Park provided really quick and informative replies that made me feel comfortable to be left in his hands. Also, the fact that Dr Park, a devoted Christian (Note: I’m not a Christian), who specialises in only BA for 20 years makes me feel confident in his skills. Not only that, Dr Park has an anaesthesiologist in his clinic which made feel more secure (From what I read, many Korean PS clinics have anaesthesia administered by nurses or surgeons who does not have sufficient knowledge on it)

After a careful consideration, I decided that Dr Park was the surgeon I wanted to proceed with. After making the arrangements with him, I flew to Korea (2 months after the first email)

- Just wanted to add this point: Dr Park only requires you to show your flight eTicket to book a consultation and surgery date whereas TL requires a down payment of 100 000 KRW (deductible from overall cost) to confirm the surgery date.

So, on the day when I landed in Korea, I had blood test and consultation with Dr Park. His clinic is cosy and the nurses are friendly. It definitely did not feel like a hospital. As I’ve a fear for needles, I was actually more worried about the blood test and IV drips instead of the surgery itself hahaha.

Dr Park was reassuring throughout the entire consultation and we decided on 265cc MOTIVA (w/o chip) implants for both sides of my breast.

The next day, I went to his clinic early the morning, made preparation for the surgery and there I was, on his operating table. Slightly more than an hour later, I woke up in the room beside the OR, covered in warm pack, feeling a little light headed but no dizziness. Later, I transferred to a resting room where the nurses provided my mum and I porridge. I slept there for approximately an hour then had my IV drips at the lounge of the clinic. Throughout this whole period, I felt slight pain (3/10) and discomfort around my chest area as I was not used to the weight and tightness. As Dr Park wasn’t busy, he drove me back to my Airbnb at Sinsa (His clinic is at Apgujeong) and I went home with a bottle of IV drips hanged beneath my clothes.

Following the procedure, I went down to his clinic for IV drips (Vitamins & Painkillers) daily where Dr Park would check on me occasionally. I felt the need to maximise my time worth in Korea so I started on a shopping spree second day post op. (Just wanted to note that Dr Park only recommends light shopping while I might have gone a little overboard haha).

My pain level summary for the first week went like this:

Surgery day: 3/10 (But getting up from bed can hurt a lot)

Day 2: 4/10 (Anaesthesia wore off & over exerted myself a little from shopping)

Day 3: 5/10 (Over-exerted myself with photoshoots – sweating under the hot sun Not recommended)

Day 4: 4/10

Day 5: 3/10

Day 6: 1/10

Day 7: 1/10 (Wore hanbok on the 7th day – Not recommended in the summer) & had a night flight home.

On one of the days during my stay, Dr Park invited my mum and I to have lunch with his wife. They were a lovely couple and I enjoyed my time with them.

Overall, I’m very happy with Dr Park’s work and I’m beyond thankful to have found out about him online. I’m sharing this as I think that there’s not enough reviews on Dr Park online and I strongly believe that he is surgeon you should definitely consider if you’re thinking of a BA in Seoul.

- He’s been checking on my condition ever since I had my procedure and still is, up till now

The clinic only specializes in BA and it is highly recommended among the local. My friend, who is Korean, recommended the doctor to me and I would no doubt recommend this doctor & clinic to anyone who is looking into getting BA in Korea.

This clinic is unlike a "factory" type clinic like some other more well known clinics amongst international clients. Dr Kim and the nurses are very attentive and personable with each and every patient there - as I have witnessed many interactions between them and the patients. As a foreigner travelling to Korea, they made me feel at ease (even though I understood zero Korean). It did help that Dr. Kim was quite humorous and made sure every patient there was having a good time (even though most of us were "suffering" from the pain of BA.) Dr. Kim although is not completely fluent in English, he can speak and understand a substantial amount to communicate and address your needs. They do have a Chinese translator/nurse there who could assist you too. One of the most impressive quality about Dr Kim, other than his skills at what his does, is how prompt he is at replying emails. It almost felt like an direct text message between him and I. Which made my choice to go with Dr. Kim a no brainer!

Ps. Might I add, the result is amazingggggg.

Sorry if you don't know a lot about it, but I am looking to get facial contouring / v-line surgery....which places are considered by koreans to be the best?
I have been mainly looking at The Face Dental (but also looking at places like Braun, TL, View and JK)...these places seem more popular with foreigners, but if you know which are out popular with locals, I would be happy to hear!
The only problem is that my Korean isn't perfect and so I would prefer to speak English in case I make any mistakes...since getting facial contouring is a serious decision!

the general rule is tho, when you feel comfortable. Like i have friends who slept on their sides 1 month in with no tissues. Some 2 weeks in. For me, I would try to do so every now and then and if I feel any discomfort I immediatedly lie on my back again. The most important thing is to listen to your body. Im now 3 months post op and have been sleeping on my sides since 2-3 weeks ago. So im really happy about that. For me because my muscles are tighter than normal and required more expansion, it also meant my recovery would take longer. My surgeon actually said a month later I could side sleep but it took me just over 2 months to be comfortable.

Hiya, honestly you are right, i been digging for them for months now. All i can find seem to be a guarantee of no accidents for 26 years and alot of certificates and registrations, which tbh put me more at ease and hence why i'm interested in them. There's a thread here that have blacklisted a bunch of clinics, which are like most of the clinics i know! So it really limit down clinics that haven't done a bad job. HERSHE have yet been mentioned, but is that good or bad lol ? Can that mean not many people go to them due to some reason? I know their prices are high, especially for someone like me who will need their foreign patient service. I can post you the prices they gave me if you would like. I am looking to have jawline reduction and double eyelid surgery. What i am worried about is the lack of before after for facial contour. I see alot of breast augmentations, lipos, skin treatments and some eyes. But not really any of jawline reduction.
As for reviews....yea hell, either that HERSHE do jobs mostly for celebs so its all hushhush secret, or they just don't have alot of customers....

My mom's Korean, so I've been in Seoul for a week now at a relative's house and plan to stay until April.
Since I have some time to myself, I've been doing research myself on google and getting recommendations from my local Korean friend.

At first I was thinking teardrop implants, but I heard they look natural but feel a bit firm.
Since the feeling of the breasts is most important for me, I'm considering Motiva implants because from I've read, they feel very soft.
I know they're a bit costly, but my mom says I should get what I want so I won't regret anything after I undergo the surgery, and she said she'd help me out if I can't afford it.

So far, I've shortlisted to MD, Bong Bong, and TLPS.
But I want to gather more info in this forum and want to know if anyone has good recommendations.
If you had BA yourself, that would be best. Or your friend did it in Korea and the results are good, please tell me.
Also, if anyone is planning to have BA in next few months, please share your experience with me!

@gnoade People trust in the reputation of the clinic, it's okay. But if you're looking for some specific results (nose, eyes, face contouring, ...) you gotta choose your surgeon, you have to know if the surgeon will be able to give you the results you want
This is not the clinic who will perform the surgery right? But the surgeon you have consultation with.
Good clinic doesn't mean this specific surgeon is especially good.
Of course you gotta check the safety of the clinic, but if you're have high expectations of your surgery, do take time when choosing your doctor

I'll give you an example. For myself, I'll do FC. there are a lot of clinics that are good for that. they are even known for their FC. I know the FC surgeon of DA is really talented and confident with himself. Prices are affordable too. So why not going there? Because I know the surgeon has a specific style of FC, which I'm not a fan of. That's how choosing a doctor is important, even if he's the most skilled doctor in the world, he might not be the right one for you.

When you last post about BA implant was 2018. I am getting mine done this coming June ( Summer Break ).
I decided to do at Hershe Plastic Clinic, Seoul. Since they do not do much publication / sponsoring youtuber few may not know them.
I need yr honest comment ( i read yr article, you simply dump & share yr homest thoughts ).

1) Possible that Motiva implant may last forever till we are old ? ( in case of no complication etc, as the latest generation of silk surface had quite a good review )

2) since you had did yours. How do you feel now ? ( confidence level, any uncomfort etc )
