I had facial contouring in september 2019 (3 months ago). As for now the minor swelling hasn't subsided yet, so I'm curious whether I have to wait until 6 months mark? I want to get under eye fat repositioning for dark circles, but not sure if the swelling affects the result and if it's safe to undergo anesthesia now. Any thoughts?

 

Oh god. I can't imagine staying awake during the liposuction.

 

I am also curious if you got GA for LAMS? Or it's local anesthesia?

 

I agree about ID. Their specialty is facial bone surgeries, and you can combine it with under eye fat repositioning. They did pretty good job on my face.

 

I personally had a really nice experience with id hospital. I was thinking of getting a lot of surgeries at first, but I ended up with facial contouring only. So although I didn't get rhinoplasty from them I can speak from my experience in general. Staff was really caring, and my surgeon Lee Kyung Min is just beyond praise. Not only very professional doctor, but also super kind and nice person. And I saw a few black ladies waiting for consultation, so I think it's a popular place for ethnic rhinoplasty, especially in Korea. I had some doubts before going there and I don't know what it used to be like before, but all the medical staff working there at the moment is amazing. Good luck with your research!

 

I'm 2 months post op after facial contouring ( V line). And I agree with @SLibra that cheekbone reduction only makes difference if you want to get rid of protruding bones, plus there is always a risk of sagging.
I'm not an expert but from what I see from your picture you could get a smaller looking face from jaw reduction. Anyway it's only the surgeon who decides if there is a big amount of bone that can be resected based on your X ray.
Also consider all the risks before getting facial contouring, it's a serious surgery with possible side effects and long recovery, but it also can give you a really positive change. I personally love my V line result, it made a big difference to the facial balance in general and jaw line in particular. I feel much more confident after it.

I really doubt that korean clinics offer L line jaws :/ It's against their beauty standards. You could try to choose few clinics and ask whether they can give this result, but it's not common at all.

Girl, you look stunning! I've read all of your posts and so happy for you! Do you know if you surgeon performs a sharper v line? Because yours looks quite natural (that's what you've requested for, I guess?). And you mentioned that you've had fillers after surgery, is it safe to get them right after double jaw and v line, when you are still swollen? Don't you have to wait until swelling goes down?

 

May I ask when and what surgeries did they have? I've booked my consultation there for face contouring.

You may send your pictures to different clinics and ask their opinion. It's better to choose the clinic that has before/afters of Westerners. as facial contouring method is different. Some clinics even did the virtual plastic surgery for me, so I could get the idea of how it will look like.

Hey, I'm actually considering FFS kind of surgery for myself too! But in my case I want to do V line and maybe brow shaving for more feminine looking face I'm also doing research right now, and I've never heard of Wish Clinic. I've contacted ID already and maybe I'm gonna have consultation there and see what the surgeon can advise first, and I was also considering Face Dental and Banobagi.

Hello, everyone. I'm heading to Seoul with my friend perhaps in September-October 2019 in order to get breast reduction + lifting and face contouring. I don't mind visiting different clinics for these procedures if the doctors are professional.
According to what I found on the Korean plastic surgery websites the recommendations on face contouring specializing clinics are following: ID, Banobagi, Face Dental.
Breast reduction is not that popular surgery itself, so it's hard to find reviews and before/afters. However, I managed to find 2 small local clinics that specialize in breast surgeries: Optima and Mom's clinics.
I'd like to know if anyone has had an experience with the clinics above or can recommend any other?
