  1. When i reached out to ID for my two jaw surgery I was actually interested in rhino and breast augmentation too! I was crazy for thinking i can do all of those surgery in one trip. They told me they do not suggest that for my safety. I was grateful for that reminder lol. Anyway, i totally agree with plastic surgery we really have to choose which surgeon will do it. We have to do our research and really prepare ourselves for surgeries like this. I think that is so important to be mentally prepared for the whole process. I might consult by next year and see, I really like PIPER's nose i think it was done by Lee So Young. I am considering ID because my experience was really good and i am so happy with my results from my previous surgery.

  2. Hello everyone!

Wow it's been awhile since i logged on here but i just want to post an update since a lot of you guys has been sending me messages and questions asking for updates regarding my surgery.
I am now 4 months post surgery. My dentist is very happy with my bite and he was very impressed with my results. Actually, everyone at my dentist's office was so impressed that all the assistants wanted to see my bite. They know me as the patient who went to Korea for her surgery. lol
Anyway, i just want to share that during 2 months i was still very cautious on what types of food i choose to eat and during those times i still feel tingly sensation on top teeth and hard palate thats why i was scared to bite. This month, i finally ate sushi, tacos, pasta, sandwiches, etc.

So, if you are having this surgery it is good to know that RECOVERY is a PROCESS, you really have to be patient and even if it's difficult to see, keep observing, and appreciate your daily progress. Take pictures! that way you see how much change and how much improvement you had from the previous months. It's amazing to go back and see. If you guys have questions don't hesitate to message i will try to reply as quick as i can when life is not that crazy hehe! Here are some of my recent photos

  4. hello,

yes im 3 mos post op now. ID pioneered on no tie double jaw meaning your mouth won’t be wired shut for long time so that will help you recover faster because you will be able to breathe better post surgery. This is ofcourse case by case they will plan your surgery depending on your case. My doctor is is a maxillofacial surgeon and really delivers really good results. I can confidently say that because i saw before and afters and have met people here that chose my doctor too and results were good! It took me 10 years of continuous research and following results before i finally got my surgery done and its the best decision! ☺️ My surgeon’s name is Dr. Lee Seok Jae. This is a big decision to make and what i can tell you is when you do your research really consider the overall experience and post care because ID provided a good post surgery care. Its a major surgery go to experienced surgeon. If you have any more questions just ask away! ☺️Goodluck!

  6. Hello!

I totally agree with you! haha thats the first thing i thought to myself after the surgery. When i was still swollen i look like the "baby filter" on snapchat haha. Now, it's definitely better but i do think i look younger compared to my before which im not complaining about. I love love love my results. I asked for a natural result and i feel like i did not go overboard with what i wanted. My requests and expectations from my surgery definitely aligned with the results my surgeon gave me. Im forever thankful.

  7. Your sooo welcome!!! Im glad i could atleast help others get an idea of what to expect having this type of surgery. I haven’t done any other surgery just Two jaw and Vline. I actually want my nose done initially but i can’t do it with two jaw surgery due to risk of ineffective breathing. So maybe my next one will be my nose hehe.

  8. Hello,

I agree with you, looking at my before and after pictures my nose looked higher but especially side profile. I think because now my chin is moved back the middle area of my face doesnt look flat anymore. Im so happy to get the result i was hoping for.

  9. I started sharing my journey because people that i met in surgery chatrooms and forums said that i have helped them a lot with their journey and they were really grateful for my help. I know how it feels to be searching for something that you want and is afraid of the unknown. It's overwhelming and intimidating, you can read my experience with PHOTOS included and if you have any other questions i can try to answer the best way i can based on my experience.
here is the link of my purseblog. HOPE THAT HELPS YOU

  10. I went to ID for my two jaw surgery july 5.

  11. Oh thank you so much! I don't feel that my bone is a bit bulged. I feel like my cheeks are still a little swollen but my friend who had two jaw surgery told me it will take 6 months-1 year for me to really see the full result. I already love my results Im just embracing my journey

  12. Your welcome im glad i can help and share my experience. I have met so many people going through the same surgery and I am really glad that i could help pre and post surgery. It's really nice to have someone share and understand the process. I got my braces too! Did you already do your surgery?

  13. Hello,

Dr. Lee is an oral maxillofacial surgeon. I don't think he performs facelift. But ID hospital has everything in that building. So, for sure someone there does facelift

  14. You can do it right away? He recommend doing it after 6months. I was planning to do my nose all together but he told me i can’t because of breathing. Then he told me it’s better to do it after 6 months. I’m already planning my next trip! hehehe. Also, you are correct here in US they won’t do surgery without braces first. Actually for my case they don’t want to do surgery at all because insurance won’t cover. I guess my teeth is not bad enough to consider surgery. It’s all about insurance here. So, if i am going to pay anyways, I would rather go to someone i know has done it so much and I know i can trust my face with. I am actually super excited to get my braces and get this over with. I already love my smile and profile and yes my nose looks nicer after the surgery especially side profile. I can’t wait for your surgery and results!!! keep in touch! Say Hi to Dr. Lee for me! hehehe

  15. OMG i’m soooo excited for youuu!!! when are you having the surgery? He is really good!!! show pictures and ask all your questions he is good at explaining and answering all your concerns. He listens. If i have to do it again il will do it again with him. Im so happy with my results. Everyone here at work was like “WOW” marieeee you were beautiful before but you’re even prettier now like i feel shy because they keep complimenting. If you need anything if you have any questions let me know!! i’m here just message me

  16. Hello,

Ohh thank youuu!!!! and Yes!!! thats what i requested he will look at your case first and he will listen to your concerns and wants. He will show you photo reference and show him photos of what you want as well. I really emphasized that i want a natural shape i think i mentioned it everytime haha. The last time before surgery he told me “natural V” lol
so he knows. I really like him he is honest and will answer all your questions.

Yes i got my fillers my last consultation but my advise would be do it after everything is done. like do fillers after the last photos and x-rays. I did it before because i thought that was my last appointment and the instructions after filler is you cant really pout or move your lips extensively after but i had to take photos and xrays. That was my mistake i got too excited. So i actually went back to add more because i only got 1cc the first time and it was good but i wanted more and they were having promotion at that time it love my lips i just want to go back to get it. Also, after filler they give you antibiotic shot on your bumbum just a heads up.

  17. Hellooo there!

No not at all, I didn’t feel pain but the first night was really uncomfortable because of the airway tube in my nose and the drainage. The nurses were really helpful they were constantly changing my ice pack and making sure i was comfortable. After surgery you feel really cold then i felt really hot after so i asked the nurse to change the temperature they were so nice to me they gave me a fan lol. I was really grateful for how they took care of me It really made difference. I would recommend to focus on your breathing because its tough at first and then you will learn to adjust. The second day they removed the drainage and airway tube and everything felt better after that. When are you having your surgery? Im excited for you! Its all worth it! Im so much happier.

  18. Hi NalieD!

I just want to give you an update about my smile. You asked before how's my smile after surgery. It's almost a month after my surgery, and my smile with teeth showing is much better now! It was difficult to smile with my teeth showing after surgery because of the incision I was afraid to stretch my mouth too much hehe. but here is my smile with my teeth showing. Also, my last set of external screws will be removed in a couple of days and I will start my braces. :smile:7FD7F5CC-8C06-434C-B74D-F76E0E602763.jpg

  19. Thank you! Im just giving input. So I’m not allowed to share my input? When i experienced it myself? Purse forum needs more positivity than negativity because it doesn’t help. Isn’t that the reason why we are all here to get answers from REAL people. I will be happy for him for whatever he decides on because it was the best decision i have ever made. Goodluck jaydenttr!
