  1. Sorry to hear you passed through such an experience...
But I am happy for you that you removed it and hope you feel better now!!
I agree with you that one should not get influenced by others do have procedures they are not totally sure about..

  2. Did you had any complications?

  3. For alarplasty it should around 1,000,000 won, while for the tip depends if you only have the cartilage tied, or a little more complex tip plasty procedure. Not sure how much is for the cartilage, but the tip plasty it should be around 3,000,000 won?
I had both bridge and tip and it was around 3,500,000.
Have online consultations with more hospitals to check out the prices if you cannot go for f2f consultation. ;)

  4. Hi! I had a small hump that needed to be shaved, a tip plasty and an alar base reduction. I found a blog for this hospital, and they have other B&A pictures there, if you are interested you can check that also.
I would have wanted the tip a little smaller, but I will wait to see how it look after all the swelling goes down.

  5. I didn't tell my parents, as they though that if you go for plastic surgery, the difference it going to be too big and it will look unnatural.
After I had my nose surgery, and after the swelling came down, my mom was quite surprised with how natural it looks. I told her that I want to have a DEF procedure also, and she agreed to come with me to Korea hahah I already made an appointment with Seoul Queen for July, but because of this corona situation T.T I don't know if I can go or not...

  6. Hello, guys!
I had an alar base reduction, and another procedure to make the tip smaller, but I am thinking if I should have another one to make it even smaller.
I really like the result of my first surgery, and that the nose is slimmer now. The doctor said that if I want to have the tip made even smaller, I would need to have the tip raised (something about septum cartilage or ear cartilage grafting), and I might need also silicone if I want to raise it even more. During the first surgery I told the doctor that I don't want any implants nor grafting, but to make it natural, so he just tied the tip. ba.jpg
Here is how my nose looks before and after the surgery.
You can see that the tip is still a little wide.I like the line that the nose makes between the alars and the tip, but I am afraid that if I make it even smaller it will look too pointy.
Should I have the tip made smaller, or it is ok like this? T.T

  7. If you are in Korea for a longer time, you could go to different hospitals for consultations.
If you don't live in Korea, try to have an online consultation and narrow it down to a couple of hospitals where you can have the f2f consultation once you come to Korea.
I had my procedure at Seoul Queen, but I am not sure whether they are good with male rhinoplasty or not...

  8. Wow 16 mil won is quite expensive, but it's good that you felt comfortable to have the surgery there. I guess that's the most important thing after all.
I still didn't decide if i should go for the surgery or not, but I went to several hospitals for a consultation. I have a Korean friend who recommended me doctor Im from Seoul Queen, and the price was 10 mil for Motiva and 6 mil for Bellagel.
And I also had consultation at Wonjin, ME and DA, and the prices were quite similar. It may be because I went with a Korean so they didn't tell me the "foreigners price" but the Korean ones haha. As my friend did a little research before to find out what the prices are.

  9. oh, I didn't know about Charmfidence.
    thanks for the info! ^^

  10. Hello~!
There is this app where the patients can post reviews about the plastic surgery hospitals. I recommend you to check that one, and after you find out more about the hospitals, to check their website and profile on the apps Gangnam Eonni or Babi talk (you'll have to search by their Korean name, but from the website you should be able to copy the korean name and paste it in the apps - most of reviews will of the Koreans, but you can check the B&A pictures).
I had my nose procedure at Seoul Queen, but I heard that Wonjin or JK are also quite popular.

  11. If you cannot find many reviews (good or bad) it can be because they didn't have English consultant till lately, so not so many foreigners went there, but you can check Beauty Social and they have different hospitals there with reviews in English. The video that you mentioned it was made by BS from what I remember  I also saw it before deciding to have the surgery. ^^
And for the discount thing, you should expect to ask something instead, like write a review on BS or send them pictures, or whatever. Not only at this hospital but most of them do that.

  12. You should try to contact them, and if you can have an online consultation in English, then you wouldn't need your own translator.
I didn't have to bring my own translator when I was there.:biggrin:

  13. When I had my surgery, I had consultations at different hospitals, and I recommend you the same thing, go for consultations to check the doctor in person, and also look for as many reviews as you can for each hospital you consider to have the surgery at.
I finally decided to have the surgery at Seoul Queen PS, and as I did lot of research on the doctors they have there, I found out that all of them are specialized in rhinoplasty, while doctor Im is also specialized in facial contouring (and breast surgery), doctor Ha is in blepharoplasty (but since you want a double eyelid surgery, I guess all the doctors perform the surgery), and doctor Kim is specialized mainly in rhinoplasty.
And SQ is not a big hospital, so I am sure if you go to a bigger plastic surgery hospital, they will have doctors specialized in different areas. Most of the hospitals have a joint treatment system, so if you are a severe case (I doubt it though), the specialized doctor will operate on you. ^^
