  1. Hello, it's been a long time since I last posted! I think I've finally narrowed down which surgeries I want to take.

First of all, I'd like to have double-eyelids for slightly bigger eyes (I'd like a natural look, not too dolly).
I would also like to get V-line or facial contouring (but I'll decide which one I should get after some consultation).

The most important thing I look for in a ps hospital/clinic is that they have doctors who specialize in eye & v-line and a well-managed system. (I've recently looked into blacklisted clinics and I never would have guessed that there are so many unethical places!)

Also, it's important to look into how experienced they are, how many surgeries they gave, whether their chief director has continually handled the surgeries, and whether they have a safe, reliable management system in case of botched procedures. I've seen cases in some hospitals where the surgeries are done by another doctor (shadow doctors) or are too unreliable, so I'm having a hard time trusting such doctors with my face (not to mention a whole lot of money on the line as well!)
Please share your thoughts/comments if there are any!

  2. Okay, I’ve finally made up my mind. I’m going to get my eyes done, and get Botox and lifting. I heard that facial contouring has many side effects (and quite frankly, I’m slightly scared that it’s too invasive). I was also warned about the sagging (especially after 2-3 years) and I would need to get further surgeries/ procedures. So I’ve decided to just get Botox injected to my masseters as well as some lifting procedure. Also, I’d really like rounder eye, and while I’m not dissatisfied with my eye shape, I am monolid and I am considering getting double eyelid surgery. On a side-note, would anyone recommend epicanthoplasty or lateral canthoplasty? I’m shooting for a natural aesthetic, kind of like Irene (from Red Velvet)’s eyes. (I've uploaded some pictures of her eyes just to show what kind of look I'm after) I’m looking into Korean clinics in Gangnam and Apgujeong. I’d like someplace that specializes in eyes & nose. My aunt’s also looking into eye surgeries, because she feels like her eyelids are sagging. I’ll look into several hospitals and make another post about it; if you guys have any suggestions feel free to comment! (Recommendations or blacklists are also welcome:smile:

  3. I've looked into getting facial contouring and v-line surgeries this past couple of months,
because I wanted to change my squarish jaw (I'd like a little rounder, not too sharp, just something really natural)

I looked around the post-op reviews and such of the clinics I was considering,
and I noticed people saying that it only lasts three years or so and after that the muscle start to sag.
Some people around me were quite against it (cuz it's risky)
and if the results aren't what I wanted, I'm not sure I can live with that (it's just a really risky and heavy decision for me to make right now)
So I've decided not to get any surgery (for now) but I do want to make small changes during the time I have off from college.
I took a semester off and I'll be going back next year, so I have half a year (and I also hear that winter's a better time than summer to get procedures done?)

So I've been getting some advice to look into face lifts/ botox. (I know pretty much nothing in this field so all tips/advice/suggestions are welcome!)
    Thank you

  4. Thank you so much for your post! I feel like this is what I needed to hear.
I've also been really insecure about my face- especially the jawline, because I feel like it's too square-ish, and like you, my mom (and extended family) also keep telling me to change my face. It all added to my insecurity and I felt like my face just wasn't enough, even though I never wanted to get plastic surgery.
I did consult a few places and looked into v-line surgeries and whatnot, but I kept getting this nagging gut feeling that this wasn't right.
Thankfully (?or maybe not) I haven't rushed into getting any actual surgeries yet, but whenever I hear my family tell me that my nose to too low, or I need to get eye surgery, or my cheekbones are too high, I get very discouraged. (my family is also Asian, and I don't know if this is the reason why. I think it's mainly the society's standard of beauty and what happens to people who don't meet that certain criteria).
Anyways, I really hope you like the results of your reconstruction surgery! I just wanted to comment that your post have helped me a great deal.
    Thanks!

  5. Hi everyone!
I’ve given it some thought, and I am considering getting facial contouring. I don’t have a lotta time so I’ve only looked into it a little bit.

I feel like my lower jaws are too square and bony. Someone also recommended getting Botox for my masseters, but I feel like getting surgery is better.

I’ve looked into a couple big plastic surgery clinics, mainly Japan and Korea, and I’ve decided on either DAPRS or ID hospital in Korea. I’m going to get some consultation and then decide...any advice or tips? I’d really appreciate it!

  6. I
Ive never considered it before, and it could also be my masseters, but I think my jawbones are too square-ish for my liking. Thank you for the advice though! I'll look into the botox
