  1. awesome! I'm post operation now myself btw and still recovering. Think I might as well start a thread since it's cold and I got the time.

Oh no girl, check them out they're really good. and don't read into the drama & gossip without vetting the docs with a face-to-face consult. it's best to consult before you rule out a place. reviews help, but you have to look at things in aggregate. The vast majority of people's experiences I came across on the forum for Namu were pretty positive. so a random negative review that's an outlier and out-of-the-blue sounds more like a self-interest hidden agenda / hit job than an accurate accounting to share with the community. And when i read that one bad review, the first thing that jumped out at me it was it wasn't even written by the patient, but their boyfriend, which is kinda odd.

My experience with them was great and I'm still in the recovery process, but I would have missed out if i ruled them out because of that. definitely worth consulting at the very least.

  2. I've been looking into all kinds of lifting options, and checking with a few places. I chatted with Namu on Kakao, and said these are levels of lifting.

If you're in your 30's you can still hold out, might be too soon.

Here's what Namu told the order of invasiveness and effectiveness. I guess you can say in order or price as well =)
    • Non-surgical (Laser / Ultrasound)
    • Thread lifting
    • Aculifting
    • Face Lifting SMAS
The lifting doctor and specialist their is Dr Kirk might be worth going in for a consult. Plus they have a dermatology clinic as well, so you could also probably find other treatment options as well.

Here's their B &A on their English site. the selection is not as much as when you log-into the Korean version of the site, but you have to bee google translate savvy and use a Kakao ID.

  3. Never heard of it, until i googled it, then realized it's a buzz word a big mega clinic made up. i've noticed mega clinics have this frustrating habit of disguising and dressing up standard and generic procedures with gimmicky words. i guess that's called marketing, but for medical stuff, please just say what it is, so we can look into it properly.

  4. congrats!

I've been looking into this myself. Have you thought about hair transplants as well?

I have been debating between hairline lowering and or FUE hair transplant. I don't think the bigger clinics are known for speciality procedures tbh, and so far i feel most of the drama happens at these big hospitals, glad it worked out for you, but it's not my cup of boba tea.

I'm leaning towards more speciality places and mid size places. I don't want to be just another number.

I've been digging through threads also noticed that Namu was mentioned a lot for hair line lowering. But thanks for pointing out that other spot @Aniati I've been chatting with namu and they seem pretty experienced in forehead reduction.

My forehead is pushing past five head to six =P

doesn't look like there is much if any noticeable scarring from the B & A pics namu sent, but I am also thinking about doubling up and doing hair transplant along the incision to camouflaging further after 6 months later. But if Namu's work turns out well then may not be needed.
