Was your upper jaw shortened? I too have a long face and want my maxilla shortened but I don’t have a gummy smile and I’m afraid my teeth won’t show enough afterwards.
Dr. Lee from The Face Dental told me he can push cheekbones out, he referred to it as zygoma expansion. I haven’t had a reduction, I just want more prominent cheekbones. He says he has done it before for people who want a revision after zygoma reduction. However, you should definitely ask him (and others) personally if you’re really interested because I’m not 100% sure this information is valid
I will probably be going to Korea this summer and I have so many questions, but nobody who has been through it seems to be willing to answer them. I don’t feel comfortable asking them here, in public (and I don’t know how to pm you here) so could we talk over KakaoTalk?
What exactly do you and your family consider as “very dangerous surgeries”. I think that for a young and healthy person the dangerousness of most cosmetic surgeries is pretty much the same.
I’m going in June 2020 and I’ve chosen TFD (although I won’t make place a deposit before having a face to face consultation). I’m traveling alone and it all seems rather scary and I’d love to have a westerner surgery companion.
I would like to join the group too. I’m going to Seoul in June for double jaw surgery, genioplasty and zygoma expansion (which I didn’t know existed, but Dr Lee has recommended it)
