  1. I naturally had more fat there then I should, even when my weight was 41 kg and my other face parts were slim. I got lipo instead of bone shaving FC and I can not see much face sagging (but I also got FG, so maybe that helped)

  2. "They waked me up during the surgery and told me I needed to swallow blood from my nose." ?! :wtf::wtf::wtf:
So sorry, I hope you will get better soon, when did you have the surgery? Maybe with time it will get better and revision will be possible :frown:

  3. Same here....I don't wear a high ponytail because if I do so, you can see 2 triangles on both sides with few baby hairs lol. And I often cover it with special hair shadow cushion. It looks so terrible TT I think I got it from my father  Because of that my forehead appears bigger, even if it's not huge.

  4. I totally agree with you. I noticed some people call it this way. Botched is something done WRONG, aesthetics can't be wrong. That's why it's so important to do research well, check before and after, so we end up looking as close as we can to our ideal version of ourselves.

  5. Hello!
Some of you were curious about my experience with ATOP, so I'm making a new thread.
I got a rhinoplasty, full face fat grafting, under eye fat repositioning and facial liposuction (mini vline) done in January 2020. I decided to choose this clinic because my friend recommended it to me! She is very happy with her results so I went to consultation there. My doctor was Lee Han Jeong. They have workers that speak english, japanese and I believe some of them speak chinese too, if I heard well  So there's no need to worry if you can't speak korean.
Doctor understood my vision and I was very pleased after consultation, but there was one thing I was confused about. I considered getting an alar reduction and doctor said it's not wide and that it's gonna look just fine with slimmer and pointier tip. Few days before consultation I started watching a lot of videos about nose job and people who got alar reduced. For some reason, after watching people's before and after, I really thought I need it, but in same time I felt like I can trust doc and he surely knows better than me about face symmetry. So I listened to his advice and I think it was a good choice. He is definitely into natural looks rather than totally changing your face, so if you wish to get this kind of results, you should consider getting a consultation there  My friends and parents in law were so surprised to see my progress and I heard compliments like "You still look like you! Just more youthfull!" and that my new nose suits my better
As for the surgery process I came one hour before, changed clothes, washed my face etc. Then I went to surgery room and I got my thighs sprayed with something for disinfection (because that's where they took out fat from to replace it to my face), my hair was taped. I fall asleep lying on my belly peacefully
Surgery took few hours, maybe 4~5?? I'm really not sure. Nurse woke me up and I felt like I just had a good deep long sleep. I went to resting room, called my mom right after I got there. Then my friends joined me and helped me to walk downstairs (the only unconvenience I felt after surgery the first day). I was able to get back home by bus, just 30 minutes after waking up and short rest
For the next month I felt some pain in thighs area. Nothing unbearable. Mostly while standing up and sitting. My face and neck wasn't painful at all. When I tried to touch my nose and neck a bit stronger I did feel a slight pain, but who would constantly do it on purpose? Swelling was worst at day 4 and 5. It felt like my face was a big baloon :wtf: After that it got much better day by day. I received 3 deswelling treatments in first 2 weeks. I believe it helped a bit in recovery. The thing that I found most annoying and that was neccesary for faster recovery was sleeping with my head high :frown: I usually sleep on very low pillow...eventually I got used to new sleeping style and I decided to sleep like this up to almost 7 weeks after the surgery. Just in case, I think you don't need to make it so long.
I used only hypoallergenic micellar water for a week to wipe dust and dirt off my face and I recommend you to do the same in case of rhinoplasty.
Finally let's get to the results! :yahoo:It's now 8th week of my makeover ~ I had one more fat grafting to touch up the center of my forehead, middle cheeks and nasolabial folds area. Just slightly, as fat survived quite well on my face. I'm very pleased with the results. It was my first ever surgery and I didn't really know what to expect, I didn't want something too drastic
Facial liposuction aka mini vline surgery gave instant results. Before I thought it will be neccesary to get my jawline bones shaved in order to get more slim vline shaped face, but I'm glad my surgeon recommended me this less invasive procedure (before I didn't even know about it, because shaving bones seem to be more popular...but also scarry for me TT).
As for the fat grafting, I finally have
"apple cheeks", prominent forehead and no undereye holowness :3 I considered getting fillers instead of FG, but I heard od FG benefits for skin and that the fat that survives lasts longer (or even forever???) than fillers and is more "natural", so it seemed better for my case. I really did notice my skin getting firmer and even less dry and less dull. It looks more healthy overall. I hope it stays looking as it is.
Last but not least, rhinoplasty  My nose was not bad before, I have never heard any bad comments about it. Just an average nose with small hump, a bit bulbous (?). But I think it did not match my face...It seemed too "strong" comparing my other face features. I explained the doctor that I want it to be a bit pointier, slimmer and make hump less visible (+ the alar part I already explained, which now I'm glad they didn't change haha). And he did so~ It looks so natural people think it was never touched by surgeons hand haha :graucho: And since it's still only 8th week after the surgery, I expect it to get even more natural.
Overall my first ever surgery went very well, almost painless (but I do have to tell you, that I have quite good pain tolerance, so it can be a major factor too! In my case even getting my stitches removed didn't hurt...thanks to nurse that was gentle, because my hubby said it's gonna hurt soooo much and made me kinda freak out lol). Recovery wasn't as though as I expected it to be. I gave myself plenty of time to recover, made sure I eat and sleep well, walked everyday to get fresh air and get rid of swelling faster.
If you are looking for natural results I can honestly recommend ATOP ~ It seems like not many people here talk about this place, so I hope my review is helpful  I will update you after some time~ If you have any questions feel free to ask! And if you have any experience with this place, let me know because I'm curious how was it ;)

  6. Hi! Yup I did get a fat graft too~ It was nice 2 weeks after surgery, I didn't get any bruising even tho I got a rhinoplasty too. But I think 3rd week+ it started to look really natural and at that time I started to feel so confident about my undereye area. I still have a slightly darker skin there, which they told me before surgery it can't be totally fixed, but the holowness and this terrible tear trough which made me looking so tired is gone and because skin is now thicker I can see such a huge differene, and most of the times I don't even use concealer, light to medium coverage cushion or bb cream and I look like I had a good deep sleep previous night haha. I will post review soon

  7. Omg TT You went through a lot TT My mom wants to get a facelift in few years and she's thinking about doing it in Korea but I'm still not quite sure if it's a good idea...Maybe it's better if she gets it done in Europe??? :-s

  8. I live in SK. My fiance went to doctor almost 3 weeks ago as he had some symptoms, and the doctor told him to get tested for covid-19 first. So he went to another hospital and got checked. He got msg the next day that test came out negative. He didn't have to pay anything. Idk if something changed, as I don't personally know any other person who got tested. I'm glad he didn't have to pay for the test and ofc glad that it was negative...

  9. I'm a white female and I had very thin undereye skin, holowness and tear trough. Decided to do fat repositioning instead of fillers, as my friend had it and she couldn't see a big difference. It's been 1 month and 3 weeks now, I look much better. After surgery I lost some weight (not intentionally), so I was scared I can lose undereye volume again, but it seems fine. I hope it's gonna last  I had it done in ATOP~
