I'm not saying this just to be nice. I'm being honest: you look completely fine to me.
When I look at my own face, I also can be hard on myself for things noone else notices. We're each our own worst critic, after all. It's also very common for people to cringe at their own photos when it looks fine to others.
Even instagram influencers... that's why they take so many selfies to get that "perfect" shot, and then touch-up their photos after that. (Also, the girl in the photos has makeup, adjusted lighting, photoshop, posing...)
I'd say give the swelling time to settle. Did you have ptosis correction as well?
Unless you have some photos of your swelling you're comfortable sharing. Best on your recovery!
Chin lipo is common after those surgeries but not so much buccal fat removal. Reducing buccal fat can sometimes age a person since plump cheeks keep us looking youthful.
Edit: Sorry, misread your post.
Thanks for your posts! Someone told me that their muscles already reduced just from jaw surgery. Maybe if you've had botox already, they could remove a little less?? Or wait until the muscles grow back before undergoing the procedure? Not sure. As far as how permanent the results are, I heard that it depends on the surgeon's technique? But like, what if they remove too much and you're permanently disabled? Gee.
If I find more info, I'll be sure to post it here. And I hope you can keep me updated, too. xD
Agree with the above poster. Even if you could do another surgery along with jaw surgery, I heard several people recommend against this considering how demanding jaw surgery can be. As for doing nose + eyes together, that seems to be fairly common.
Thanks for passing along the message. That's sad that he lost his job due to this and that the clinic is struggling. Wish him all the best for his future.
Thank you for the photos. It looks like you're not experiencing sagging. I notice that in the before photo you had prominent mandible muscles. Did he reduce any of that? I don't know where it all disappeared to in the after photo lol. Doesn't look like you needed lipo either. What a great result!
