I recently decided to do a BA surgery in 2019. I am in NYC and I'm considering if I should get it done here or in Korea and also thinking about materials, clinics, and doctors.

Based on my research, there are 2 brands are approved by FDA in the US - Mentor and Allergan. Doctors said the 2 brands are the same and the result is more dependent on the docs instead of brands. Then I switched to the Korean clinics and so far, i've consulted Banobagi, Laprin, Mine plastic and April31. here is my summary:
-Material: Banobagi and Mine plastic use Motiva; Laprin uses Polytech which is the least i prefer; Mine has tear drop that is not motiva but they didn't tell me the brand. April31 said they use Mentor, Motiva, Bellagel, and Sebin (all cohesive gel and FDA approved) depending on your condition and preference. i've followed up with them on the material.
-Price: Banobagi is 14m-16.30mm; Laprin is 8mm-12mm; Banobagi said they could lower the price and offer 6% tax return for foreigners. April31 is 10mm-15mm
-Doc: Banobagi is Jaesang Barn; April31 is Dr. Jaewoo Kim.

Anyone has some experience in terms of materials and doctors? Thank you in advance!!!

Have you considered Dr Choi from View Plastic Surgery? He specialized in Breast surgeries only. I am heading there around oct 2019 to top up my fat graft and do BA.
