Thick Nasal Skin-- rhinoplasty

Recommended Posts

Hi guys! I recently reached out to a clinic who made me aware that I have thick nasal skin. This hasn't been brought to my attention before (in my lurking on here, reviews, reading consultation experiences etc) and after looking into it, it is definitely a thing. I read an article and it's spooked me into really reconsidering getting rhinoplasty (particularly looking to reduce and define a bulbous tip and alar reduction) or maybe my want doesn't outweigh my motivation to go through with this after all, but people with thick nasal skin are hard to have a successful rhinoplasty bc the skin can mask whatever work the surgeon has done? Any comments, thoughts, experiences (with before and afters, surgeon and clinic, if possible)?

I gave them my photos for pricing purposes and suggestions on what they could do, but you can Google and compare. Usually if your alars are more than a couple millimeters thick, it would be considered thick it seems
