yumigumi Posted December 9, 2018 Posted December 9, 2018 I got a jaw x-ray when I went to the dentist six months ago and I'm currently in the process of getting it sent to me. I want to try and figure out on my own how low the nerves in my jaw is so I can guess how much jaw bone can be shaved away safely. How did you guys find out about where your jaw nerves were? Did you find out with an x-ray or a Ct scan? I don't wanna find out that my doctor can't shave enough jawbone once it's too late.
kioku Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 As much as I'd like to know this too because I think my jaw is already small, that's a great idea getting the scan from your dentist! I just had a check-up a while ago and I was due for an updated scan and didn't realize it was the same thing! Have you asked your dentist? They can probably tell you since they look out for teeth nerves + youre not obligated to tell them why you're interested since it's about your own scan
