Hi all,

The purpose for posting this is to provide my online consultation experience for people who are considering facial contouring (FC). It is also for myself to compile a list of different opinions from different clinics, and I thought it would be interesting to share. Please feel free to share anything whether it be a suggestion of a clinic or a surgery I should get. Also, please note that I speak 0 Korean and communicated via Kakao talk in English with all clinics.

What I know: I have a really big face. My cheeks are super wide, and I do not have a prominent chin. I don't think my jawline is angled at all, though if it was, I would not mind because I quite like angled jawlines.

What I want: Basically, a much slimmer face (obviously).

What I thought I needed before any consultations: v-line, zygoma reduction, chin implant, and possibly nose job. I messaged every single clinic, "Hello, good morning. My name is _____, and I'm considering getting plastic surgery. I was wondering what types of plastic surgery I should get and how much the total cost will be. I am thinking about getting v-line and/or zygoma reduction and/or chin implant." //sends pictures

The Face Dental - They responded in 1 day. Apparently I have, "recessed chin and wide face." They recommend I get zygoma reduction (4,400,000), genioplasty and angle reduction (4,400,000 - 6,600,000), and muscle + buccal fat removal (1,000,000)
My reaction: I agree with their assessment of my face, and their prices are very fair. Even before the consultation, I did like TFD because they do specialize in faces, and I've read more positive than negatives about them. As for now, I will pursue getting more information about them.

JW Clinic - They responded in 1 day. They recommend I get zygoma reduction (5,950,000 - 6,400,000), Accusculpt and thread lifting (both come out to 5,950,000 - 6,400,000), and botox (350,000)
My reaction: I was shocked by how fair the quoted prices were because I thought JW was pretty prestigious and would try to cheat me. I will not be getting botox or the thread lifting because they are both not permanent, and I want something permanent. Accusculpt is "facial liposuction." I am a believer that accuscult results can be achieves through weight loss, though I don't know much about Accusculpt.

Cinderella Clinic - They responded in in 1 day, and said, "for facial contouring surgeries, we would require to take an x-ray in oder to get a more detailed diagnosis of what you should or should not do. If you are doing V-Line surgery, you could only choose between putting in implants or getting the surgery done because if you do the surgery, you would not need implant. If you are thinking of facial contouring, doing the V-Line and cheekbone reduction would be the best option. The estimated price for Vline + Cheekbone Reduction: 17,000,000 - 18,000,000.
My reaction: This was my first consultation, so I did not know what to expect. I knew that clinics would inflate their prices, so I was prepared for high prices. However, after receiving multiple other consultations, I think it is a little ridiculous that they have quoted me 17,000,000KRW. To be honest, I don't know how to feel about their assessment.

I tried consulting with Opera and TL Facial Contouring. Both have responded saying they will get back to me. I will post updates as they are given. ^^

I'm no expert on surgeries but I think that a v-line surgery/cheekbone reduction surgery with a chin implant might be a good option for you. Also, you seem quite pretty ^^
