I've also consulted with each clinic that I'm interested in. I think it also depends on whether you booked the surgery appointment ahead of time (meaning you've probably paid the deposit ahead of time and have chosen the clinic for sure) or if you are doing multiple in-person consultations with different clinics while in Korea.
