toby132 Posted March 7, 2019 Posted March 7, 2019 Hello, I am a Korean Canadian who is planning to get surgery in Korea sometime this year. I had no clue that there are so many clinics in Korea( and how come they're all stuffed in one area...?). I'm not quite sure what I want yet but I am guessing like eyes, nose, cheekbone reduction and breast aug maybe? I would be so thankful if anyone recommended some clinics or gave me tips on how to choose the clinics that are worth getting a consultation. Thanks!
sphnixdarc Posted March 7, 2019 Posted March 7, 2019 First you'd decide which surgery exactly you want and as you can see from many posts here, a certain ps is usually good at a certain procedure then try to find reviews on the procedure that interests you the most and see the ration of good/bad review per ps
new_self Posted March 8, 2019 Posted March 8, 2019 Good question ive narrowed down to breast eyes and nose then later an fc possibly. Clinic im interested has got a review..so kinda hard but researching
toby132 Posted March 12, 2019 Author Posted March 12, 2019 True....I think I'm gonna get all four procedures done together if the my budget can cover it all. I was thinking of going to one of the big hospitals as they have each specialists for each surgeries and I wouldn't have to go through the trouble of switching clinics all the time.
glitterocean Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 When I began my search on plastic surgeons. I researched far and wide of surgeons based in three countries, my local country, korea and USA. From there I googled the best plastic surgeons who performed rhinoplasty for each country & city. Then I looked at their websites, social media content and reviews on real self. Mainly looked at the aesthetics. Then when I was happy with my list, I contacted them all for consultations and ask what their surgery procedure was like and the costs. I ended up choosing a dr in the US purely from the results he is able to achieve aesthetically, because it matched to what I was looking for and I felt more comfortable with their consultation process. I also took into account the type of material they used for the nose, where it’s harvested from, how many years of experience. I only chose drs who specialise in asian noses.
