alh398166511 Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 I’m thinking of using my credit card to pay for my surgery when I go to Seoul and I was wondering what other people’s experiences were? I’m worried my card might get declined due to an “uncharacteristic” transaction? Has anybody had this experience before?
daffycakes Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 It’s recommended to bring cash or use a bank wire instead of a credit card because the clinic will charge you more for using credit card (up to 15% more than cash). If you absolutely need to use a credit card, call them beforehand and tell them you’ll be charging a large amount (ballpark from your online consult).
lovejen_202 Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 You can call the bank beforehand to tell them that you are traveling so they don't block your credit card.
