starlight91
Hi, this question is for those that had epi done before, specifically "magic epi", where they only cut along the inner corners. Its been 1 month since I had it done and I find my epi is still abit sharp at the corners, like "cat eyed". I read on real self this tends to happen for a few weeks due muscles tightening. Can anyone give me their experience about the healing process and if/when it will look less tight at the corners ? I really hope I don't have to go for epi reversal
starlight91
I just want to say that after 3 months my epi has become more natural looking. *phew. However, the epi corner of my right eye has become more square than triangular and seems too elongated. My left eye turned out perfectly fine. My doctor did say my right eye didn't really need it...so maybe thats why. So please only do epi if you really need it. And always get a second opinion. The high chance of scaring and mm difference can change your eye shape and not in a good way. Kelocote scaring gel works wonders though and my doctor's stitch work was great so I have no scaring.
