Augmentation Mammoplasty in November last year

Recommended Posts

Hi dear TPF fellows!

I’d want to share my experience here as I couldn’t be even happier! I feel so much confident about myself now and very thankful to my surgeon for the way my breast came out.

Pre Op.

I used to have a problem like most skinny women have – small breasts. Although, I was quite ok with its shape, they did not look good from the side and had this caved-in look about them. And as a matter of chance I met an old friend of mine who was a few months post op after a surgery of my dream. I think it was a sign for me, so I decided “it’s time!” To proceed a surgery on my breast was one of the hardest decisions ever and I did very thorough and deep research. I contacted few ps’s and finally chose Regen.

I think Doc Lee did a fantastic job on my chest. It was very easy and comfortable for me to deal with him and his staff. He recommended 350cc for both right and left sides therefore to move from 34A to a full C. He also suggested to place implants under the muscle in order to prevent any capsular contractures and proceed a surgery through the inframammary incision (or under the breast fold, so it’s hidden very well once everything is healed). And what I liked the most about our consultation was that he didn’t rush on me, he patiently listened and answered all my annoying questions and openly discussed all possible complications.

Post Op.

Although it was in November last year I remember pretty much everything about my surgery, how nervous I was before and how sore my breast was right after the operation and to be honest all 100% with you guys the most difficult time for me was the first week right after the operation.

So far, I can’t say that pain was unbearable (on a scale of 10, I’d give it 6 without painkillers but only for the first 2-3 days or so), but the discomfort and pressure as well as inability to do anything by myself were somewhat annoying (I simply wasn’t able to change clothes or lift my hands, everything that required even a slight upper body movement. I guess it was mainly because implants were placed under the muscle which actually caused me to feel them in the beginning). However, after about a week and a half I was back to doing pretty much everything on my own and 3 weeks after I flew back to my country with no problems.

I think my breast started being softer and softer by the end of February (after about 2.5 months) and in mid March when I contacted Doc Lee’s assistant for our progress management, she said that everything was on track and that my breast would probably continue to drop and soften few more weeks. Overall, it took me around 5-6 months to fully recover from the surgery.

Outcome.

I’m glad that I didn’t go with very large size and I’m very satisfied and love my new boobies. The discomfort during our “delicate” with my husband moments flew away and I can even say that we definitely became closer like never before. My significant one said that my breast looks and feels very natural and that he doesn’t even feel any difference – that the most important result for me. My breast costed me around $6k usd (bargained a LOT, so got VERY good discount lol) and I can definitely say that money were spent well!

I’ve read few negative reviews about regen lately and I know sometimes ppl talk about bad results more, but the overall number of positive reviews about this hospital definitely outweigh… Btw, your boobies look lovely! Which implants did you go with?

Thanks! At first I was thinking about Motiva, but they were quite pricy, besides you can get an absolutely same result with other implants as well. So, it was really difficult for me to choose between Sebbin and Bellagel and I chose the second eventually
