cheesybeast Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 Has anyone had jaw reduction or v-line with VIP? I’m pretty much just seeing eyes and nose reviews. I’m asking because they offered airport pick up and 10-day accommodation during recovery, on top of having a decent price tag, all of which is awesome. However, if they’re not good at jaws then it’s not worth it...
mazikeen Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 Nope. Don`t do it. If you want jaw reduction or v-line go to Dr. Lee at TFD, that is a maxillofacial surgeon who specialises in these areas. VIP is good for the nose.

cythr Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 Keep in mind that TFD does natural work so if you want a dolly kpop idol-ish jaw then they probably aren't the best.

I don’t want a unnatural alien look overnight so TFD is my first choice atm. I really just want to shave down my mandible (mostly towards the back) and maybe cheekbones a little, but keep my L-line and chin if possible.
mazikeen Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 The extreme shaving to achieve the kpop look is the reason most people are having post surgery complications like sagging, inability to move the jaw etc,etc,. Dr. Lee`s conservative approach is better. People forget that bone shaving is permanent, it can`t be revised if you don`t like the result.
mazikeen Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 Btw, did VIP confirm that they do v-line & jaw reduction? When I had my consultation at VIP I recall Dr. Lee telling me that he doesn`t perform such surgeries. He only does mid face augmentation for mouth protrusion.
cheesybeast Posted May 24, 2019 Author Posted May 24, 2019 I’m still getting a handle on all the contouring procedures out there so sorry if this isn’t super informative. On kakao the VIP consultant said they definitely do mandible reductions (quoted 6k USD). They can either 1) cut just the corner angle off or 2) cut along the jaw toward the chin depending on what you want. I didn’t ask about chin/miniVline stuff. Hope that helps!
