cloey Posted May 26, 2019 Posted May 26, 2019 Would you guys get silicone or goretex implant? I'm thinking of getting a rhinoplasty in a year or two, and I'm debating on what implant to get. I'm leaning towards goretex, but I haven't read a lot of posts with people who have it for more than 2 years.

verovera Posted June 12, 2019 Posted June 12, 2019 During the consultation I've asked the same thing. I heard that Goretex doens't have as many complications as silicone (also the percentage is not that high from what the consultant said), but the doctor and the consultant from Seoul Queen strongly recommended me not to go for Goretex, as it gets attached to the skin and it will grow together, so alter if you want to remove it, they'll have to detach the whole skin of the nose and cut the material from the skin. Also they said that in time the shape it gets twisted. It's true that for silicone also the shape can get twisted though... Anyway, I strongly recommend you to find out a little more about Goretex before going for the surgery. I am super satisfied with the silicone implant, and I recommend you to look for reviews on their website or blogs or onthe korean applications ( Babi talk, gangnam eonni) before you decide where is best for you.
