wideface Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 Hi all, I have always been self conscious about my wide cheekbones and short chin which leads an upside down triangle effect on my face. I was looking into facial contouring procedures, specifically 1) A genioplasty to lengthen the chin and give more projection 2) Zygoma reduction on the sides of my face to narrow the face and bring it in line with the jaw, and maybe also add some forward projection to the zygoma. The results I'm looking for can be seen as similar to the actor Ludi Lin here: His before (Notice wide cheekbones, small chin): Front: Side profile: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKmM0OnTYvM&t=3m54s His after (slimmer face, more elongated chin): Front: Side Profile: His face is noticeably slimmer (cheekbones much more forward projectring, and his chin is much longer and much more projection) Are these changes replicatable/am I looking at the right procedures? Thanks!
mazikeen Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Yes definitely. Just make sure the surgeon doesn`t go overboard and cut too much bone. I would recommend a maxillofacial surgeon like Dr. Lee from Face Dental. He does a good job. Good luck & keep us posted on your progress
eunicehan Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 I would highly recommend Faceline Clinic. Dr. Jinsoo Lee is specialized in facial bone clinic. And he was also appeared in Korean makeover program 'LET ME IN'. So please check this clinic!
