yujin Posted June 23, 2019 Posted June 23, 2019 Hello! I’m going to Korea next summer and I’m planning to get fat dissolving injections and maybe some Botox on my jawline. I will be 18 by then but since you have to be 20 in Korean age to be considered an adult, I was wondering if clinics will still accept me (without having parental consent if needed) since I will be legal in my home country already.
verovera Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 You have to be 19 to be considered an adult in Korea (20 in Korean age), so if you are born in 2001 you'll need your parents' consent, before 2001 you wouldn't. It doesn't matter if you are an adult in your country, the hospital would have to call your parents to talk to them, and have them signed some papers (they will send it to you before coming to Korea, and you'll have to bring them), so your parents don't have to come to Korea with you.
cythr Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 I mean even if you aren't an adult I doubt you would have trouble finding a clinic who would do it on you as its not plastic surgery just injectables.
