I have a very jaw asymmetry. I am considering and want to do surgery.
I am worried about the hospital and doctor because there are a lot of center and dr in Korea. Especially with my case: Jaw Asymmetry

Which hostpital should i choose? I have had some option:
- Banobagi / dr. Oh
- The face dental / dr. Lee (cheaper than banobagi)

I'd appreciate any information you could give me. Thank you so much!

You’ll going to need double jaw surgery. You’re jaw shifts to the right and needs to be midline. I think facedental or Eu dental might be good. I’m not 100% sure so you’ll really need to do an extensive research. This can be improved so make sure you take the time and find a skilled surgeon. You’ll def want to get it right the first time.

I went to ID recently for two jaw and Vline. I had Dr. Lee Seok Jae as my doctor. He is an oral maxillofacial surgeon. I really think he is good at what he does. very honest and kind doctor.

Well good for you but don't go recommending a clinic that has a highly negative reputation among foreigners, they have it for a reason.

Thank you! Im just giving input. So I’m not allowed to share my input? When i experienced it myself? Purse forum needs more positivity than negativity because it doesn’t help. Isn’t that the reason why we are all here to get answers from REAL people. I will be happy for him for whatever he decides on because it was the best decision i have ever made. Goodluck jaydenttr!

Your case seems very similar to this surgery journal. Keep in mind that this person also did a v-line surgery on top of his double jaw surgery.

Edit: If you're worried about the price. I currently have my surgery planned (double jaw + v line) and the total I paid for the surgeries was 13 million KRW. I also need to get braces after the surgery, and that was not included in the price.

That's a great price. I was quoted higher for just jaw surgery, and even higher since it's a revision.

Which clinic quoted you higher? Maybe my clinic is on the cheaper side compared to others…

Consult with TFD, Everm, EU and then decide. If you have more time also consult with JUM and EVER M.

Make sure you consult with a good doctor in your home country too so you're going to Korea with a rough idea for what you need.

Don't pay a deposit or choose a doctor till you've met them in person as I found it wasn't till I got to Korea and met people in person and saw results in person (not photos or videos) it's hard to pick. Once you've consulted then go with your gut on which Dr you trust most.

I also would be careful about recommendation. This is one time life decision and should share your experience more objectively. Although I can see your good outcome.
