Is UVOM a good clinic

Recommended Posts

Hello guys,

I have been reading all the posts and comments here for a while. And now decided to finally post.

I have had surgery in korea in 2012. I had cheek lipo, eye lid surgery, chin, and nose done in banobagi. I am not satisfied at all and it was quite expensive.

Now i am planning another trip to korea and have been eyeing Uvom clinic since there's quite a few good reviews and comments about them. But i am also wary that some of them may be paid/sponsored/fake reviews.

I would like to hear the personal experiences of the people that have been actually there.

Thanks in advance!

Hello! I went to this clinic last month to have surgery and all I can say is this clinic is overall good. The staff were kind to me, helpfull and answer at all my questions very quickly. It's a small clinic so the consultant takes her time to explain me everything and even check out after the surgery to see the process of my healing.

For the surgeon, well all I knew is that there's different specialists depends of the surgery. The one who did my surgery only do eyes surgery. During the consultation he can gives some suggestions but if you dont want it he won't force you or insist. I thinks he's more into a natural result than the dolly one. And during the face to face consultation I spent 2 hours, like 1 hour and half with the consultant and the last 30 minutes with the surgeon.

For the price well, I think it's a little expensive but it's normal because we all know that foreigner have to pay more than a local but what's surprised me is I didn't even aware that there's a tax-free stuff but they gave me one and I was able to save around 300 euro (280 usd).

I want to tell you that I wrote a review about my experience about this clinic and it's not fake, it really is what's happened when I came to have my eyes done. If you don't trust me it's okay, I understand that you have to be cautious because having surgery is an important decision.

Have a good day!

Thank you so much for the reply! Looks like uvom is a very good clinic. I am trying to stay away from “factory clinics”. Hyundai is also one clinic I am looking into but there’s not much reviews about them.

Your eyes look amazing btw! So natural!

Hello aka1802, I would like to know which eyes surgery you have done with Uvom and with which surgeon? Are the result good? I have consulted them for my eye bags surgery as well. It seems their price quoted was like higher and then they offered me discount 30% by cooperate with them... i have read others thread regarding this as well. They offered higher price then only offer 30% off promotion by helping them to post in forums? So I really nt sure should I choose there or nt.

Hi Janice! I get epicanthoplasty, lateral and lower canthoplasty. The surgeon is Dr Kang and I'm pretty sure he's the only surgeon who did eyes surgery  . Right now I'm satified with the result! At the beginning I was worried because the out coners were a bit weird but now my eyes are very natural and I love it.
For the discount, I remember they give 30% and you have to make 3 reviews (so 10% each) 2 weeks, one month and 2 months later. If you want you can give them pics of b/a and they give you more discount.

I hope I help you even if my english is not very good ahaha

PS: When you will book for your surgery (even if it's not at Uvom) don't forget to ask for the global tax-free!

Whoa UVOM just quote me 5.5 Mil for DES + Protosis + Epi

“For the costs, an incisional eyelid surgery costs 2.5 million won and if you add ptosis correction, it‘ll cost 1million won added. And an epicanthoplasty is 2 million won. And you can get a discount from this price if there is no change on the surgery plan after in-person consultation

Especially at the moment we are on the promotional period. if you agree to cooperate us with our promotion, we'll offer 30% discount. Also if you make an appointment on the same day after the consultation or send a deposit to reserve the surgery in advance, we'll give you an additional discount as a thank you for the decision you make

i dont think the marketing strategy works on me its a bummer and i think i’ll avoid UVOM for now
