Can double jaw surgery shift my jaw to the right side in order to make it midline? And also shorten the right side of my jaw to match the left?
scochend09 Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 Yep it can. If you are happy with your teeth, you can opt for just facial contouring to just make your face more symmetric. However, double jaw is also an option, and may or may not require you to wear braces after the surgery if you did not have braces previously. If you opt for double jaw surgery, I would recommend seeking out clinics which have surgeons that also have dental experience, as it is more than just an aesthetic surgery.
