Hi guys,
If any of you got a double jaw surgery in Korea, maybe you can share the type of :
  • soup brands,
  • smoothie recipes,
  • kitchen appliances,
  • grocery stores,
  • restaurants
anything food-related that was helpful to you during the first couple weeks of recovery in Korea
I'm sure that would be helpful to a lot of people.

I did my two jaw and v line in Korea with The face dental Dr Lee and I survived on ensure plus shakes and in Korea you will find a shake called 'well life' by 'nu care'. I also recommend you bring some sort of protein power so you can drink protein shakes every day also.

Korea also has shack shake and during my liquid phase i used to drink the milkshakes :P

I aimed for 1600 calories a day.

I'm going to have my jaw surgery too~ Can you tell me, when I will be able to eat hard food and how long time it takes to recover?

You won't be able to eat hard food for at least a month. Even after a month it's better to avoid things that are extremely hard to chew, but your diet should be able to include most things at that point.

I'm currently on 2 weeks of liquids + soups + shakes. I'll then try to move onto softer foods such as porridge for an extra 2 weeks before being able to eat foods like meat at all.

Hi there I am currently on day 16 post surgery
What i would recommend for food.
1) get a blender
2) blend chicken
3) blend nuts
4) cook congee( you can use the congee to mix with whatever you have blended)
5) get eggs
6) get bananas (microwave them till them become soft, mixed with whatever blended content you have)
7) get milk ( good to scrambled egg with milk)
8) rent a air B and B with kitchen, basic cooking Appliance, and Cook eat walk till you recover

This is what i am currently doing every single day , Plus get a gym membership do some light weight stuff, stay here for 21-30 days, do you weekly check up with your surgeon !!
