itskippy Posted August 28, 2019 Posted August 28, 2019 I was recently notified of the many risks of zygomatic arch reduction, so my doctor recommended this procedure instead. However, when I search for this procedure on Google, nothing comes up. Could some help me find before/after pictures of what he's talking about? Or does anyone know about it? Should I do this procedure instead of zygomatic arch reduction? Will it help my face look more narrow? "Dr. XXX doesn't do a fracture of the zygomatic arch because of the risks this procedure has, even if this procedure is very good to reduce the lateral projection of the cheeks, and is very popular in Thailand. He instead can grind down the thicker part of the malar bone. This can only allow to reduce the anterior projection (which Dr. XXX wouldn't do to you because it is not needed in your case) and the anterolateral projection (oblique projection, between the lateral and the frontal projection) which can make a positive change to your face."
