How painful is jaw reduction?

Honest experience of having jaw reduction? What is the recovery and pain like?

I had my surgery 1 year ago. It is not painful at all! If i had to rate it, maybe 3 out of 10. It is just a discomforting pressure. The only major isssue is food!! Takes too long to chew in your first few weeks so you’ll get tired of chewing and cry over what you cant eat.

If i had to do v line surgery again, i would ^^ because it wasn’t too terrible....except for the food haha

It sounds so promising. I'm looking forward to my surgery so much, but at the same time really scared. What kind of liquid food is available in Korea after v line? How long did it take for you to chew normally again?

I been just digesting other people's experiences and looking into this. I imagine it's pretty brutal.
