Sorry I haven’t been active here :[ got into a motorcycle accident and broke my tibia lol, was a being a bit too adventurous

For my bridge they used silicone, but my bridge was quite high near the middle but low near my eyes. So in between the eyes and down to the middle of my nose they used silicone somehow and made it straight from a profile view. Not sure how they did it since I had high points and low points to my side view. Magic.. lol

For my tip Chris used my septal cartilage inside my nose. Actually my septal cartilage was very deviated, but he was able to straighten it out as well and then take a part of it to make the tip a bit sharper.

I don’t think he favors one method over the other. It depends on your nose shape.

But in terms of hardness it goes

ear cartilage > cartilage from inside the nose (I think it’s called nasal septum, sorry this surgery was about 1 year ago so I’m not sure if the technical terms are right) > rib cartilage which is quite hard

if you do use a harder material it holds up better.. but you can feel it. Like now I can feel my tip and it’s not naturally soft like other people.

Like if you want to take a funny photo of your face pressed against the glass, don’t, your nose tip isn’t soft anymore. And I love taking funny photos :[

Hmm let me see if I can figure out photoshop again to block the rest of my face (I’m shy). I might have some old photos where I took it before surgery at different angles but I don’t want to send a before and after where it’s not apples to apples.

To be honest.. this was 1 year ago. And hanabi was one of the first clinics I visited (according to my list I wrote down).

From what I remeber Hanabi felt more clinical. Well it’s hard to compare since Chris spent so much time talking to me on Line and we went over several different photoshop photos and what is realistic and what wasn’t. So.. my consultation with Chris went wayyyyy over just the 15-20 minutes in their office.

All other clinics I visited I had to speak to a rep, cocoline was the only clinic where I had access to the surgeon directly and not a sales/marketing person.

But from what I remember, Hanabi felt more clinical in and out. You have to pay for the head x ray and the doctor told me what all other doctor’s said which was my septum was deviated.

Yea.. sorry but it’s hard to compare to be honest. Cause Chris just spent so much time with me going over all the little details. I mean he even had his staff do their own photoshop and I critiqued it to say what I liked about mine better compared to his, and he came back with what was realistic or not, etc etc etc

All I can say is, it’s been a year now so my nose has settled for sure, it won’t change anymore. And I think what Chris did was pretty much what I asked for, which was something natural, similar to what I had before but with adjustments here and there. I wasn’t looking for any crazy changes to the nose, just something that enhances, not something that changes.

Now I can’t say other doctors aren’t able to do the same cause I didn’t go to other doctors.

So all I can say is, if you talk to Chris, and you’re really specific about what you want, and you’re really detailed. I’m quite certain Chris can achieve it (given you’re not being unrealistic). He will tell you flat out if you’re being unrealistic.
