I didn't manage to get KRW before I came here, I didn't bring cash to be converted for my planned surgeries either. All I have are my cards. Is it possible to take out large sums of KRW from the atm? Or will I have to go to a bank? I would prefer to get at least some cash for my surgeries because of the discount, you know? Thanks!
winnie3360 Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 I believe the best place to exchange currency is in myeongdong across the china embassy is a currency exchange store...#43....something...if you get directions to the china embassy and go there, you will find the currency exchange near there!! I know a friend who went to korea and she told me to just bring some money with me but exchange more at this currency place!
cythr Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 I think there is a limit for how much money you can take from an atm when you are overseas. I think either a bank transfer or maybe calling your bank and seeing if they can raise your atm limit would be the best options
