kartika333 Posted October 3, 2019 Posted October 3, 2019 Hello dear thank u for sharing your story, i planned to do my surgery this november, i already booked my appointment at regen, i would like to ask if the screws in your bones, did u plan to take it out? Did the doctor say anything about it?
hellowkitty Posted October 4, 2019 Author Posted October 4, 2019 You're welcome! I still have the titanium plates in my bones and so far, it doesn't give me any problem. The doctor said I still can have CT scan or do any activity with them so I don't plan to take it out yet. By the way, wish you the best luck for your surgery!
audy887 Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 Thanks for writing in details! Your result is amazing! Did you need an assistance or you could do everything by yourself after surgery?
hellowkitty Posted October 4, 2019 Author Posted October 4, 2019 Thank you! I did for the first few days but on day 7th post operation I could go to and from the clinic by myself already. The consultant always helped me in catching the cab after my visit though
wishingstar Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 @hellowkitty Thank you so much for sharing your experience and photos. You look so beautiful!! Which doctor(s) did you have at Opera? And did they speak English, or was it almost all through the translator?
hellowkitty Posted October 7, 2019 Author Posted October 7, 2019 Thank you! I had doctor Kwon. He spoke good English (if I'm not mistaken, he said he had been living in Australia for years) so I did not need anything translated during the consultation.
audy887 Posted October 7, 2019 Posted October 7, 2019 How nice of her! What did you eat during your stay in Seoul? Did they recommend you any food to help the swelling to reduce faster?
harodyche Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Great result! I'm planning to have a consultation in Opera for face contour. Do you know if they have skin treatment too there?
madambutterfly89 Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Did they have to remove s peice of bone for your zygoma reduction
hellowkitty Posted October 8, 2019 Author Posted October 8, 2019 Yes she was really nice! I ate mostly congee and soup. They didn't recommend me any specific food but they told me to move a lot instead of laying down on the bed all day to help the swelling go down faster
hellowkitty Posted October 8, 2019 Author Posted October 8, 2019 Thank you! When is your consultation? As I know, they didn't have skin treatment there. But you could ask them to make sure.
andyandme Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 Great result! When did you have your stitches removed? I'm planning to stay for 1 week only for jaw reduction
madambutterfly89 Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 It would be helpful if you post a clear photo in daylight, 6 inches away from the camera, hair in ponytail to show your results. Even though my procedure turned out horribly i'm able to take a decent photo that can be very deceiving. I wish people know that no matter what technique is used, facial bone contouring will always cause sagging, If you think a facelift will solve your issues you have another thing coming. I would rather live with a wider face and conceal it with my hair. Cheekbone reduction does not reduce the width of the face-it just destroys the outer contour/facial line and eaves you with no structure.
hellowkitty Posted October 11, 2019 Author Posted October 11, 2019 Thank you! I got the stitches for cheekbones removed after 1 week. The stitches inside the mouth for jaw and chin surgeries were dissolvable so there was no stitches removal
hellowkitty Posted October 11, 2019 Author Posted October 11, 2019 Thank you for your advice. I do not experience any sagging issue from the surgery but I'm sorry to hear what you've gone through. I hope you find a way to fix it
