wishingstar Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 It looks like Dr. Lee Dong Chan (rhinoplasty specialist, speaks some English) is no longer at View due to "personal reasons" (according to View), and I think I read a lot about him from this forum before. Does anyone know where he went? and why he left? Would love to consult with him, but I can't find him! Thanks in advance for any info anyone may have.

I’m quite curious about this new place but I think he does such a good job on his surgeries I just hope the place isn’t shady. Please keep us updated.

I know DA had mixed reviews from some forumers, but I don't know if that's surgeon specific or about the clinic / aftercare / service as a whole. Also, has anyone here had surgeries other than rhinoplasty with Dr Lee Dong Chan? How is his track record when it comes to eyelid surgeries, for instance?

wishingstar Posted October 27, 2019 Author Posted October 27, 2019 Hey guys, I contacted DA since I also had wanted to consult with Dr Lee Dong Chan for nose, but they replied on Kakao saying that Dr Lee Dong Chan at view only does facial contouring (and not rhinoplasty). Is the Dr Lee Dong Chan a different one than the nose specialist that used to be at View...? I'm wondering if it's the same person or not. Has anyone successfully consulted with Dr Lee Dong Chan at DA this year for rhinoplasty? Any info or leads would be appreciated!

wishingstar Posted October 28, 2019 Author Posted October 28, 2019 OK, update: I heard back from DA that it is indeed the same Dr Lee Dong Chan, but he no longer does noses and is only doing facial contouring and double jaw right now. It looks like many of us now need to find a new nose surgeon. There's a Dr. Ahn and Dr. Kim at DA for noses now....not sure who to choose. I've heard of Dr Ahn but not Dr Kim. I'm wondering how their styles are different and who to consult with. Has anyone here had experiences or had their noses done with either and would be willing to link or share their experience?
justdimples Posted November 20, 2019 Posted November 20, 2019 Dr. Lee Dong Chan did my rhinoplasty at View and he missed the most BASIC thing and didn’t correct my deviated septum. My final result is a nose that looks badly off center and I desperately need a revision. I would strongly suggest you look at other doctors and clinics.
