baeree9987
Hey! I’m planning a FC in Seoul and so far want to proceed it at Banobagi. They asked for a deposit in order to book a surgery day, but I don’t really like their return policy. Is there anyone who got FC there making a deposit before coming to Seoul? Does it really worth? figjamm
I made a deposit, as I have a limited amount of time in Korea. While it does feel like a bit of a gamble, if you do enough research, hopefully your expectations (at least at the pre-op level) should not be that far from reality. If you go in for the 1:1 in person and really hear something that deters you, I think losing the deposit sucks, but in the long run, you won't regret losing it if you really have a better option that you want. manialjain
I think if you are 100% sure that want to get procedures done there – yes, it totally does! I got V Line with their Dr. Oh and so far have no regrets. I didn’t book my surgery day in advance, so couldn’t actually proceed my surgery when I wanted and wasted few days, but if you are fine with staying in Seoul as long as you need and not that “need to control everything” type, it’s quite possible to come without deposit. abbyfrost
I think you are right, if you definitely want to proceed your plastic surgeries there and want to plan everything in details, it’s better to make a deposit. I’m planning to come to Seoul very soon but this time for consultations only. and if you have enough time and most importantly ability to come few times, I’d suggest you to do the same. Once you meet all surgeons and get f2f consultations, you’d have a clearer idea of where exactly to proceed your operation

manialjain
well, I got it done in January and yes, quite satisfied with my results. Although, first few weeks my lower jaw was numb as well as my chin, now I feel totally great. I think, you should also mentally prepare yourself that you’ll suffer, it’s not that easy as you may think.
baeree9987
There’s another thing that bothers me a lot, can I leave the country with no problems? I mean, what if I plan to stay there only 2-3 weeks, obviously my face’d change a lot and on top of that it’d be very swollen. Did you experience any troubles with the passport control? manialjain
no as I asked for a surgical certificate. Even though, I wasn’t asked for it when left Korea but when I came back to states, I had to show it. Don’t worry it won’t be a big deal.

jjma5
I wouldn't recommend it. It's important to meet with the surgeon and see if he's the right fit for you. I had 5 rhinoplasty consultations and they said slightly different things, but most importantly, you have to make sure the hospital doesn't just see your face as dollar signs and actually cares about improving your appearance. Also, the aftercare is important. I don't want to feel rushed and kicked out right after surgery. That's why I feel like getting a feel for the hospital and the staff is important, since they take part in the process as well.
