lifeinplastic Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 So I originally got my jaw shaved in LA by a doctor who marketed himself as a doctor that specializes in Asian plastic surgery. He didn’t shave as much as I would have liked, but worst of all, it was still uneven (which is why I originally wanted it shaved in the first place). I forget how much he charged, but it wasn’t peanuts. Probably around 8k give or take? Then I decided to get it done by a craniologist in SF (highly regarded and very popular). His work was uneven, parts missed in shaving, and I don’t look as feminine as I would like. I forget how much I paid, but was most likely north of 20k. He does acknowledge my concerns and has agreed to redo it at no extra cost. The bedside manner of him and his team are great. But a part of me still feels like he will never get me as feminine looking as I see the Korean doctors do. Keep in mind I don’t want to look super fake with an exaggerated V-line, just something slim and feminine enough. I am planning on going to Korea to get it done a third time and get it done right. I’ve been watching a lot of YouTube videos and it seems like the technology, the number of patients they do, and the aftercare there is amazing. I am not speaking for all Korean hospitals, just the two that my friends and I have done a lot of research on. My two friends have also got their faces done in Banobagi and 100% recommend that place to me. My only concern is, is it really risky to get the same surgery done three times? Has anyone done it? Anything I should know?
